Aia, tasuta privaatse parkla ja restoraniga Leel's Safari Cottage asub Udawalawes, 12 km kaugusel Udawalawe rahvuspargist. Leel's Safari Cottage is much more than just accommodation. It's hard to explain how well we were welcomed by Leel and his family. The attention to detail, where nothing is lacking for their guests. An incredible accommodation, well looked after, thought out down to the smallest detail. As hosts in our country we are quite demanding and critical of the accommodations where we usually stay, but here, a rating of 10 is not enough. It exceeded all expectations and it's good to realize that here, welcoming guests is more than just a business. It's done from the heart. I can only recommend that you leave your entire experience in Leel's hands, from the meals to the safari. Leel, thank you very much for welcoming us so well.

Excellent clay house that feels very luxurious for a very reasonable price. Food is also good and the associated safari with Subhash is also 10/10. Very recommendable!

The location couldn’t have been better. Right by the Safari entrance, and within minutes of arriving, we saw an elephant just across the road. It was such a cool experience. The facilities were top-notch and really well maintained. The pool was actually the perfect temperature, which is rare for hotels since they’re usually too cold. There’s also a restaurant on-site with a great selection of food. We highly recommend the Kothu! Plus, there’s a convenience store right next door in case you need any extra supplies. The rooms were beautiful with modern bathrooms, great hot water, and a lovely balcony view where we got to watch the sunset. What really made our stay special was the staff. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, treating us like VIPs. The rest of the staff was just as helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area. We’d love to come back!

Wild Lake Side is a gem. Milan and his family took extra care and attention for our 3-night stay. The cabin was fantastic and built with care. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the stream and jungle was a peaceful treat. We enjoyed the homecooked meals very much, and the family was very flexible with timing and variety of options. They organized two 4-hour private safaris for us in their very cool vintage safari vehicle that was the perfect size for two people. We chose to do morning and afternoon safaris on two separate days and it was a nice balance of relaxing at the cabin and enjoying the park. Our guide was exceptional as he shared many details about the range of birds and animals we encountered. This was our second time visiting Sri Lanka and our stay here stands out as the best experience.

The place was really nice and our hosts so welcoming. Upon arrival we were met with the most beautiful dinner! The room was clean and comfortable and we loved the pool. They organised a drive for a safari at very short notice and we had a great day out. Would highly recommend it to anyone coming for a safari or to just visit the area.

Jungle Paradise asub Udawalawes, 11 km kaugusel Udawalawe rahvuspargist. Kohapeal on tasuta jalgrattad, tasuta eraparkla, välibassein ja aed. Kohapeal on turismiinfo, restoran ja terrass. We were in the apartment and took value in the very large bathroom and deck area, and the fact you had room to move in between the different areas of the apartment. We didn't need to leave the complex other than for safari trips and elephant sanctuary, all of which were pre-arranged via Whatsapp with the owner, which made life really easy for us. It was good to not have to plan or think about too much whilst we were there. The pool is super clean. The best thing - the safari. Lasa, our driver, was the best. He is really passionate about showing us a good time and getting right up and personal with the animals. These will be memories we will cherish forever. Thank you.

Birds Paradise Jungle Place asub Udawalawes. Mittesuitsetajatele mõeldud majutusasutus jääb Udawalawe rahvuspargist 10 km kaugusele. Külalised saavad nautida Aasia hommikusööki. Our stay was completely authentic. Unlike the usual tourist guesthouses, we lived here with locals. Chinta and Suranga introduced us to their world and culture, and did everything they could to make our stay special. I would recommend this place and this wonderful family to anyone who wants to experience Sri Lanka in all its authenticity.
