The hotel is beautiful, very well decorated. We had booked the deluxe king suite but it did not have the features in the room that we expected from the description on bookings website. Ie, coffee maker and microwave. However, there was a microwave in the hotel kitchen available for use . And we were able to boil water in the kitchen to make our own coffee. We appreciated the tour around the downtown when we arrived, and Ricardo's efforts to solve a problem with our hot water. He genuinely cares about the guests.

La feria de Aguascalientes no tiene comparación, su clima es muy rico casi todo el año, Se desayuna y cena delicioso! Prueben el Lechón, como en ningún lugar de México. Es barato y esta ciudad tiene Todo lo que puedas necesitar. No olviden visitar la presa del Cristo y la Iglesia en el antiguo Barrio del Encino donde se encuentra el Cristo Negro. Su festival de las calaveras es impresionante.

Aguascalientes quick stay
In Mexico inland, always stay near Centro Historico area. From there walking distance to other sites. Aguascalientes has a beautiful Main Plaza as do most cities. Usually surrounded on the perimeter by restaurants, coffee places,fast food, etc. European feel, where most people go to enjoy. Sometimes music or entertainment, depending where you are in Mexico.

We enjoyed wandering in the shops and on the streets close to downtown. Aguascalientes doesn't have as much local colour and colonial charm as some other cities, such as Zacatecas, but is nice for a short visit. The people are kind and helpful and the streets were very clean.

Aguascalientes seemed very safe and the public areas were clean. The city center has some beautiful buildings--mostly baroque churches. The Museo Posada is outstanding. Everyone I talked to was helpful and friendly.

Aguascalientes is a small industrial town. Very crean, safe. Not recomended ir you are looking for a colonial place. Indeed they are some churches un the city Center. You can move around with Uber.

May be the cleanest and most welcoming city we have ever visited. We visited several museums, I especially enjoyed the museum of Jose Guadalupe Posada, the artist who created Catrina and the Regional Historical Museum.(Museo regional de historia de Aguascalientes). We walked a lot but also took the tour bus which afforded us the opportunity to see many other interesting parts of the city. I hope to return someday.

Very nice hotel overall. I really liked the courtyard settings and the greenery. Best of all though, I have to say the staff were very helpful during check-in and throughout my stay. I would even say they went above and beyond, especially when I had a somewhat embarrassing moment and accidentally locked myself out of my room (funny story to tell though, I suppose). I stayed here several times when traveling between Aguascalientes and several other cities in central Mexico, each time was as comfortable as the last. Definitely recommend.
