We made a last-minute booking after our initial booking for a different type of accommodation fell through on the last hour and Hotel Kapital was quick to assist us and make sure our request was met. Upon arrival we immediately decided to stay because of the hospitality and state of the property. We also decided to book at the hotel for our second trip back to Maputo. It was so nice to find such a tranquille place in the busy city that is Maputo. Coming back to the hotel after a long day or night of exploring the city was the best part...

Perfect place to stay if you’re transitting or having a short stop in Maputo. Reasonably priced rooms with free shuttle to/from the nearby airport, and the location is in a nice and safe neighbourhood. The hotel’s restaurant serves great food and has a spacious area to chill so I didn’t feel the need to get outside the place at all. And if you want to explore some attractions in the city, Pablo, who was the most hospitable host, would help you to arrange a ride for a meager sum. Highly recommended.

The Hotel Polana in Maputo is truly a gem, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Oryx felt like home during my stay in Maputo. I had left the hotel for another only to return. The staff was beyond helpful. They arranged transport and always greeted me by name. My friend commented on how everyone knew me there and I had only stayed 2 seperated nights. I wouldn't think twice about booking again. The rooms are not only pristine in terms of cleanliness they are comfortable to boot. It was hard to get out of bed every morning, but I had a city to explore.

The hotel is located right next to the Cathedral of Maputo. WiFi connection was stable and good quality. Breakfast was included and had a variety of choices. The receptionist Mr. Ibraimo Lai was amazing: he was very professional and helpful. We booked a basic room, and we asked if he could assign a room at higher floor, and he ended up upgraded us to a suite room, which has the best view of the city. If one day we come back to Pestana Rovuma, he will be one of the factors.

After 10 days in Xai-Xai at our more basic lodge, arriving at the hotel felt like a truly luxurious experience! It really is a nice property, with a great location on the seafront. Our room had a lovely terrace with ocean views and was well appointed. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was tasty with generous portions. The breakfast buffet was also very nice with lots of choice. We wished we could've stayed more than one night to explore Maputo a bit more.

English was used in this hotel. Almost all the staff members were very cordial, including Ansel who gave a warm welcome and was helpful all through as well as the manager Candida who was fantastic with good communication, warmth and helpful information. The location/hotel was about 15mins from the airport and had an inclusive feel amidst the people of Maputo. The breakfast was always very divers, rich and of very good value for your money.

Radisson Blu Maputo is the best, I really enjoyed my stay. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly, not forgetting the delicious food. A gentleman by the name of Armando who works for the hotel, organised a cake and his colleagues to sing for me on the morning of my birthday, that really made me feel very special. To Armando and colleagues, please keep up the great work. I will definitely come back to Radisson Blu Maputo soon.

The Hotel overall is fine and well located, but normally both the bread and the sweets like croissant or other types of sweets are from the day before and you can immediately feel the difference, because they are dry. In my view, this is unacceptable in Maputo in a very well managed hotel. In my last stay they had internet problems for three days, a bit too many for a hotel where people who visit Maputo for work normally stay.

We spent 3 nights at the White Garden Hotel in Maputo in August 2024. The hotel and rooms were very clean. It looked like everything was brand new and had been recently renovated. Our hotel room was impeccable, with good quality bedding. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They did their best to assist us with any request we had and we are very grateful. Thank you very much!

The apartment was very clean & quiet. Sofia and Gina were very friendly. I highly recommend anyone taking a trip to Maputo to stay here. It is centrally located, close to major areas, fully equipped has all the add ons - Iron, washing machine, refridgerator. Sofia us to pleasant tourist attractions and a guide. She is a great host and kept checking in on us.

I stayed at Green House for one night before catching an early bus out of Maputo. The hotel has very basic facilities which were completely sufficient for my requirements. However, take note that (some of?) the rooms do not have their own bathroom - something I hadn't realized when booking! Nevertheless, the bathrooms were clean and the showers are large.

Perfect location for exploring Maputo and Imelda went above and beyond as a host! Aside from the incredible breakfasts, she helped with airport transfers, banking issues, and was just such a warm and gracious host. I couldn't have asked for a better welcome for my first trip to Mozambique. I will definitely stay here again if I am back.

Great communication. Excellent honest bar with views. Owner gave us some much information to help us plan our trip and how to navigate Mozambique. He arranged our pick up and transport to our next location. He recommended a restaurant that was excellent. We are coming back here on our return through Maputo.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The apartment satisfied all my needs and was very comfortable. The location is excellent as well. Everything in Maputo is at walking distance from here. The host went out of her way to help me getting started in Mozambique. Highly recommend!

Comfortable modern hotel with nice view of Maputo Bay, large terrace with view and swimming pool, good restaurant, and friendly personnel. Excellent location between between Baixa and Polana.which can be reached by walking. Several restaurants in the vicinity.

I had a fantastic stay at the Polana Plaza Hotel in Maputo! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the hotel. The spacious room was a true delight, offering a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

The location of the building was ideal for doing business in Maputo. The apartment was very spacious with great views over the city and ocean. The staff were always on hand and ready to assist with any request.

Nice and stylish new Hotel which offers a good product for a great price in Maputo. Location is a bit out of the centre but still close enough to have access to most sides.
