The bungalow had a great bed, excellent shower with lots of hot water, very new and very clean. The staff went all out to make sure our stay was wonderful. The owner provided airport pickup and drop off and waited over an hour for us due to visa issues. The breakfast was always good, huge plate of fresh fruit, fresh juice, coffee and made to order omelets. I would definitely stay at Telvina again.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Casa Cabana Beach is located in Vilanculos by the beachfront. Free WiFi access is available. Casa Cabana Beach Lodge was perfect for us. Rob was very communicative, especially with the protests going on at the time of our visit, which was reassuring. Bobo met us at the airport and took good care of us during our visit. He arranged for us to do a day tour to Bazaruto, etc with Sunset Dhow Safari. We were in standard room #3 and were very happy to be in the room instead of one of the cottages. It also had a queen bed. It was more private and we had the whole garden area in front of our room. The room was spotless, was very large and tastefully decorated with local handicrafts. The bed was super comfortable with the softest sheets ever! The patio was lovely for having morning coffee and relaxing in the afternoon. All the staff were very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was very good with homemade bread and eggs to order. We also ended up eating 2 dinners there as well. The grilled fish was delicious. We also enjoyed walking into the village which was a bit long. You can also take a tuk-tuk (chopela). If walking, walk the road the entire way or the beach, with slight detour, the whole way. Do not try to cut over half-way because the “roads” on Google Maps are tiny winding foot trails. We preferred walking along the beach and swimming at the beach in front of Telvina Beach Lodge Restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Cabana and would return if in the area. Thank you!

Hotel Dona Ana is located at Vilankulo harbour. Surrounded by 2 ocean sides, this art deco hotel offers a terrace with outdoor pool. We were sooo exhausted after traveling. We found this hotel to be quiet and comfortable. Slept through breakfast-so no comment. Staff was exceptional Thankyou and God bless you

Boa Gente Lodge in Vilanculos offers a garden and outdoor pool. There is a restaurant and bar and guests can have fun at the games room. Free private parking is available on site. Great place! Nice and clean rooms, the staff was helpful with everything we needed. There is restaurant within facility. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend a stay here.

I loved every minute at this place. The staff are amazing and super friendly. They made me like a part of their family. I was travelling alone but never once felt alone or lonely. Dalton pretty much organized everything for me. I bought groceries and we all would dine together. We even made s’mores couple of times. The place is absolutely beautiful. The low tide and high tide changes make the beach absolutely gorgeous. They have kitesurfing school and Nelson is the best instructor. He is super patient and calm. You can also get paddle board from them. The room are so big. The rooms have kitchen with stove and kettle and cutleries and plates and everything. The property is just at the beach. The market and bank is slime 15 mins walk. You can also get bike from the resort. If you need data for your phone you can get SIM card from the market. The data in Vilankulos is much cheaper than in Ponta Du Ouro. I got 30 GB for 31 USD and I did not finish it. To say the least it’s more than enough. i love this place and definitely going back. You can do island hopping to three different islands and have sunset boat cruise. If you are into water sports, scuba diving, snorkelling, kitesurfing etc. then this is the place for you.

Linda not only collected us from our previous lodgings and delivered us to the airport but also stopped at the shops so that we could buy groceries; she ordered food when required and put us in touch with her fresh fish supplier so we knew that we could trust the quality and price. We were able to indulge our desire to feast on seafood, coconuts from her trees, and relax in her lush private garden. With only two cottages sharing a pool, we had it to ourselves most of the time. The leisure furniture was comfortable - a most necessary asset for a holiday near the sea. Although the kitchen surrounded the bed, it did not intrude or reduce the comfort. The bed linen is both pretty and comfortable, suited to the climate.
