Taj City Center is one of the best property in New Town Area. The best of this hotel is the hospitality offered to you is superb. No one can beat Taj's hospitality as they will spoil you with services and personal care. We stayed 5 days there and we felt like home away from our home. Special mention to Mr. Sanjay from the room service who is the best to take care of all your needs. The breakfast is good with choice of Indian and continental choices. In overall one of the best hotel I have stayed so far.

Although we didn’t book a Mountain View room, we could see it from our window. Rooms- Cleaned everyday, provided slippers and towel. Spacious rooms with comfortable bed. Clean lined and blankets. Staff- Very friendly and courteous. Always ready to help. Booked us cab for sightseeing. Food and Water- Food was homely and very delicious in affordable price. Water bottles available for purchase in a very affordable rate. I, along with my parents are very satisfied with our stay, looking forward to visit again for sure

Located in Darjeeling and offering a breath-taking view of the surrounding mountains, Cedar Inn provides a fitness centre, a spa and a 24-hour front desk. Free WiFi is available at public areas. I can only describe this hotel in superlatives. We were greeted with hot tea and very professional staff members upon check-in. Our room had a fantastic view over the surrounding hills, including the Kanchenjunga. We had water and tea-making amenities in the room. The hotel is quite cold during winter, so wear your jacket in the common areas, but the room was well-heated with a radiator and felt very cozy. It was spacious, with an upper deck where the bed and the bathroom were and a lower deck close to the windows with a social area to enjoy the view. The food in the restaurant was terrific, and so was the service. Altogether, we had an unforgettable experience and will likely come back, despite Darjeeling being several days of travel time from our home.

The staff were welcoming, particularly at the YAYAVAR restaurant during breakfast service and Cal-On. They were all helpful, particularly Biswajit, Santu, Arpita, Bindiya who greeted us every morning. Adnan was very friendly and helped us with a reservation on Christmas night at Cal-On, and gave us great advice about visiting locations in Kolkata. I stayed at this property two separate visits in December, and will definitely return.
