The 19th-century Duke Hotel is located on the waterfront, overlooking the stunning Bay of Islands. It features a guest lounge, restaurant and bar and garden bar, as well as a gymnasium. The kindness of all the staff but I would like to point out the excellent Camila at the reception and her husband at the restaurant. Very good people and excellent professionals. I do recommend this hotel well located, silent and clean.

Paihia Beach Resort & Spa offers luxury boutique accommodation just 20 metres from picturesque Te Tii beach. Dinner was good and service excellent.

Kingsgate Hotel Paihia offers a memorable waterfront location, just 100 metres from Paihia wharf. The hotel offers views across the Bays brilliant blue sea and out to Russell. Great location, our room had beautiful views, impeccably clean and staff were friendly.

The 4-star Copthorne Hotel & Resort Bay of Islands offers an amazing location next to the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds, a 20-minute drive from Keri Keri Airport. Guest enjoy free WiFi throughout. The hotel was very nice and well maintained. Rooms pretty good. The location is just excellent having a good overview with of the bay. The tennis court was pretty good.

Avalon, in a tranquil garden setting, offers self-catering cottages with free Wi-Fi and balconies overlooking the valley and the Puketotora River. 2 nights was not enough. A peaceful retreat which was very quiet and beautiful. Close to town with a car but night be a bit far out without. I loved this olace. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable

Delphine and Guillaume are great hosts and made our family feel very welcome; The location of the accommodation is beautiful and invites you to relax; The whirlpool in the evening was brilliant; The fresh eggs from their own chickens were a highlight every morning; To summarise: We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our time very much. We can warmly recommend the accommodation.
