It's easily the nicest place I stayed at during my time in New Zealand, and I wish I'd booked more nights just to enjoy the place for longer. The room and bathroom were spotless, the amenities were lovely, the breakfast was a lovely touch, the bed was comfortable, and access was really easy. The location is close to the beach, and a really easy drive or 10 mins walk into town. I would come back here any time!

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. Immaculate, clean well presented rooms. Amazing customer service!!
