Located in the heart of Gisborne's shopping precinct, the Emerald Hotel features 50 spacious rooms, free wifi, a swimming pool, undercover carparking and a fitness centre (currently being renovated). Brooke at reception was absolutely fabulous. Rooms were spacious and very good value for money. Location was fantastic. Amazing pizzas next door too.

Whispering Sands Beachfront Motel is situated on Waikanae Beach, just a 10-minute walk from Gisborne city centre. Our apartment backed directly onto the grassed area that led to the beach. Our toddler could play and we could sit and relax just outside the room close to our food and drink.

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. How close it was to everything. It was so modern and like a home away from home.
