The accomodation was basic, but had everthing we needed and was spotlessly clean and tidy. We especially loved the owner/manager, Linda, who was fantastic, so very accomodating when we needed to extend our stay, and full of beautiful wisdom that both my wife and I were so very grateful for. The inside of this historic hotel was charming, comfortable and quiet. The host gave my friend and me private rooms even though we booked a shared room because we were to get only guests in the hotel. She was very kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend - especially if you like historic buildings.

There was dedicated parking behind the hotel. The room was very pleasantly furnished and decorated. It was clean and quiet. Check in was smooth. The hotel has a great bar/pub adjoining, where breakfast and dinner was served. It's an old hotel with great routines and processes in place; all in all a professsionally run hotel. It was a great stay.
