Located in the centre of Cusco, Casa Matara Boutique is set 1.4 km from Wanchaq Train station and 500 metres from Santo Domingo Church. We stayed here twice and both rooms were well appointed and clean . Really nice Peruvian charm family run. They stored our bags while we were at Macchu Piccu and we had some laundry done while we were away.. On our return both were already in the room waiting for us !

Just 8 minutes drive from the Velasco Astete Airport, the Sonesta Hotel Cusco is less than 1 km from the city centre. All rooms feature a mountain or city view. Place was cloce to Qoricancha temple. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was varied and pretty good and it is ready from 5 am in case you have to leave early. Service was great .

Wyndham Costa del Sol Cusco is a converted 17th-century mansion located in Cusco’s centre, a few steps away from Cusco Main Square and La Merced Church. Second time staying in this hotel and I loved it. Great staff , nice breakfast and facilities.. The initial confusion about what type of room was booked was handled efficiently and professionally. Will stay again.

I enjoyed the common area with comfortable swing chairs where you can sip mate de coca, always for free for all the guests. The staff are super friendly and helpful. A real paradise :)

We chose Ollantaytambo specifically because we were taking a toddler to Machu Picchu. We loved the location of the hotel, it's so close to the plaza where there are lots of restaurants and a market area. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was so helpful. They even arranged for us to bring breakfast with us when we where going on the train, which was a blessing. Taxi to and from the train was included and taxi service to and from the airport in Cusco was easily arranged for an extra fee that was well worth it. Highly recommend Victor his driving was excellent and he was always on time and so friendly. Wifi was excellent. Courtyard was lovely, rooms were clean and roomy especially with a toddler. Will definitely stay there again.

kihagyhatatlan Ollantaytambo
Cusco jó hangulatú gyarmati város. Utazási irodák által környező településre szerezett buszos programok ajánlottak, de az árból mindig alkudni kell! Érdemes Machu Picchu felé egy fél napot + egy éjszakát Ollantaytamboban tölteni. Rendkívül hangulatos kisváros. Hangulatosabb, mint Cusco, ezért legközelebb nem hagyjuk ki!

Cusco is not only the cradle of the inca culture but...
Cusco is not only the cradle of the inca culture but it's the gateway to the Andes and the Sacred Valley. It seems impossible to find any other place in the whole continent from where you can so easily reach countless inca archeological sites. The town itself is pleasant with it's cobbled stoned streets, attractive main squere and friendly people. I highly recommend to spend some (at least 2) days with exploring the city than visit the surrunding ruins on your own or with a guide. To visit Machu Picchu it is more comfortable and exciting to spend at least one night in Ollantaytambo, and travel to MP by train. The chapest and easiest way to get to Ollantaytambo is having a collectivo (shared van). ;)

Gyönyörű, hangulatos város.
Gyönyörű, hangulatos város. Bárki megtalálhatja a kedvére való kirándulóhelyet, éttermet, szórakozóhelyet. A közlekedés kaotikusnak tűnik, de taxival könnyen, olcsón el lehet jutni bárhova. Az árak elfogadhatóak, mindenkiki megtalálhatja a pénztárcájának megfelelőt. Leghangulatosabb hely a San Blas környéke...csendes, gyönyörű a kilátás és minden közel van hozzá. Cusco és környékének felfedezéséhez legalább 1-2 hétre van szükség. Rengeteg gyönyörű természeti és építészeti látványosság található a környéken. Állandóan ünnepelnek valamit, fiesta van, mindenhol szól a zene, az emberek szeretnek az utcán lenni.
