El Maitai Rangiroa se encuentra entre las localidades de Avatoru y Tiputa, en uno de los lagos más grandes del hemisferio sur. We visited Rangiroa for the scuba diving and loved staying at the Maitai. It has a good location that is private and easy to use a taxi to get around. The excursions we took picked us up at the hotel for no additional charge. A supermarket is located right next door which is so convenient. We spent many evenings watching the sunset from the pool area and especially the dock. The room was spacious, clean, and comfy. The breakfast was included in our plan with was good having a large buffet. The food was good at dinner and a fairly good variety. We were welcomed by everyone that we encountered on the staff.

LE FARE BLEU Tiputa Rangiroa está ubicado en Tiputa y ofrece alojamiento con vistas al mar, bicicletas gratis, un jardín y una terraza. Clean and lovely accommodation. Great shared kitchen area, with filtered water (which was unexpected). The decking was the best part, lots of loungers and hammocks to relax on whilst looking out at the lagoon. The breakfast was generous and ideal to have available first thing in the morning. Emmanuelle is a great host, gave excellent details about how to get there and arranged taxis to and from the airport (plus the boat taxi which is a unique way to get to your accommodation!). She also very kindly rang some of the tour operators to help us arrange lagoon tours. The place is in a quiet remote area, which is lovely and peaceful. It’s 3km to the shop and pizzaria, which took us just short of 15mins to get there on the free bikes to use at the accommodation. The dog and two cats are very nice and well behaved. We loved this little peace of paradise.

Maravillosa la amabilidad, atención de Jeannine para ayudarnos con los traslados y actividades. Además, nos dejaron unos productos de alimentación esenciales en el alojamiento que agradecimos mucho porque puedes encontrar los supermercados cerrados según la hora que llegues. El apartamento es muy cómodo con cocina eléctrica , nevera, depósito de agua potable, aire acondicionado, lavadora y bicicletas que son ideales para ir a los restaurantes del muelle o supermercados o pasear… y muy privado y a pocos pasos del mar… realmente es un lujo de paz y privacidad … Repetiríamos sin duda !

Chez Tamatuamai está ubicado en Avatoru y tiene un jardín. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratis. Los mejor del alojamiento son sus anfitrionas. Mata y su hija son encantadoras y te hacen la estancia súper agradable. Nos enseñaron la isla, nos proporcionaron kayak, bicicletas, pan, huevos, fruta de forma totalmente gratuita y nos llevaron al aeropuerto. Siempre con una sonrisa y una dulzura especial. No puedo estar más agradecida!

The location is amazing with direct access to the lagoon. Felix is a fantastic host. My partner and I had a wonderful stay there. Felix has been very welcoming and showed us some Tahitian customs (such as making your own coconut milk and make a raw fish plate with it).

The view from this property is magnificent. You sit on the beach, water side and watch the sunset every night. The canopy of trees and the little thatched roof porch make a perfect viewing spot with your evening cocktail and music. It is really beautiful, quiet and private. We used the BBQ which was well stocked with wood and worked great (made meals on this for 4 nights). There is a stove/oven available. This is a small, charming beach house consisting of a main room (bedroom/sitting area), bathroom en suite, and kitchen open to a little porch deck. Main room is well air conditioned. Kayaks, snorkel masks, and bicycles are provided. Bed was very comfortable. Washer is new (no dryer). Internet worked great.

Blue Lagoon Villa está ubicado en Avatoru y ofrece una pileta al aire libre, zona de playa privada y salón compartido. We have recently stayed at the Blue Lagoon Villa from 30 Dec 2024-3 Jan 2025. We had an amazing experience. Jonathan was a great host. Even before arriving to the Villa he helped us with renting a car, booking excursions, organise meals, always available a ready to help. Throughout our stay we really felt like home. Hélène, which was taking care of the house and supporting Jonathan with all the services was always available during our stay, from cooking meals, teaching our kids on how to fish, opening coconuts, getting us fresh fish, among many other things. The house is perfectly located with a private pool and beach on the lagoon. We could snorkel and kayak straight from the house with multiple fishes and blacktip sharks always swimming around us. The we planned to visit the blue lagoon (100% recommended), Louis, recommended by Jonathan, picked us up with his boat straight from the private beach in the house. The house has 3 spacious rooms and all the amenities you need for a wonderful family holiday. The kids were happy to use all the gaming gadgets and board games when resting from the sun, and we could enjoy music throughout the house while swimming or having a beer. Was really perfect holiday in a home away from home! Again, I fully recommend anyone traveling to Rangiroa with a big family and wanting more privacy to book your holidays at the Blue Lagoon Villa! Will be the best decision you will take!
