El Maitai Rangiroa se encuentra entre las localidades de Avatoru y Tiputa, en uno de los lagos más grandes del hemisferio sur. We visited Rangiroa for the scuba diving and loved staying at the Maitai. It has a good location that is private and easy to use a taxi to get around. The excursions we took picked us up at the hotel for no additional charge. A supermarket is located right next door which is so convenient. We spent many evenings watching the sunset from the pool area and especially the dock. The room was spacious, clean, and comfy. The breakfast was included in our plan with was good having a large buffet. The food was good at dinner and a fairly good variety. We were welcomed by everyone that we encountered on the staff.

LE FARE BLEU Tiputa Rangiroa está en Tiputa y ofrece vistas al mar, bicicletas gratis, jardín y terraza. En la habitación en casa particular, tanto el wifi como el parking privado son gratis. Clean and lovely accommodation. Great shared kitchen area, with filtered water (which was unexpected). The decking was the best part, lots of loungers and hammocks to relax on whilst looking out at the lagoon. The breakfast was generous and ideal to have available first thing in the morning. Emmanuelle is a great host, gave excellent details about how to get there and arranged taxis to and from the airport (plus the boat taxi which is a unique way to get to your accommodation!). She also very kindly rang some of the tour operators to help us arrange lagoon tours. The place is in a quiet remote area, which is lovely and peaceful. It’s 3km to the shop and pizzaria, which took us just short of 15mins to get there on the free bikes to use at the accommodation. The dog and two cats are very nice and well behaved. We loved this little peace of paradise.

Poe Guesthouse está en Avatoru y tiene jardín, zona de playa privada, terraza y wifi gratis. We can’t thank Poe enough for her amazing hospitality. From start to finish she was very welcoming, professional and charming. She gave us a tour of the island by bike, took us fishing and cooked us some delicious dinners. The bungalow itself is lovely, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We also loved the breakfast with homemade yoghurt and coconut confiture - delicious! And it was very nice to have the bikes freely available for us.

Además, nos dejaron unos productos de alimentación esenciales en el alojamiento que agradecimos mucho porque puedes encontrar los supermercados cerrados según la hora que llegues. El apartamento es muy cómodo con cocina eléctrica , nevera, depósito de agua potable, aire acondicionado, lavadora y bicicletas que son ideales para ir a los restaurantes del muelle o supermercados o pasear… y muy privado y a pocos pasos del mar… realmente es un lujo de paz y privacidad … Repetiríamos sin duda !

Chez Tamatuamai está en Avatoru y tiene jardín. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Los mejor del alojamiento son sus anfitrionas. Mata y su hija son encantadoras y te hacen la estancia súper agradable. Nos enseñaron la isla, nos proporcionaron kayak, bicicletas, pan, huevos, fruta de forma totalmente gratuita y nos llevaron al aeropuerto. Siempre con una sonrisa y una dulzura especial. No puedo estar más agradecida!

Monita villa Tiputa está en Tiputa y ofrece vistas al mar, bicicletas gratis, jardín, zona de playa privada, salón de uso común y terraza. Se ofrece wifi gratis. The location is amazing with direct access to the lagoon. Felix is a fantastic host. My partner and I had a wonderful stay there. Felix has been very welcoming and showed us some Tahitian customs (such as making your own coconut milk and make a raw fish plate with it).

Rangiroa Sunny House está en Avatoru y ofrece jardín y zona de playa privada. Este alojamiento frente a la playa ofrece parking privado gratis, wifi gratis y acceso a una terraza. The view from this property is magnificent. You sit on the beach, water side and watch the sunset every night. The canopy of trees and the little thatched roof porch make a perfect viewing spot with your evening cocktail and music. It is really beautiful, quiet and private. We used the BBQ which was well stocked with wood and worked great (made meals on this for 4 nights). There is a stove/oven available. This is a small, charming beach house consisting of a main room (bedroom/sitting area), bathroom en suite, and kitchen open to a little porch deck. Main room is well air conditioned. Kayaks, snorkel masks, and bicycles are provided. Bed was very comfortable. Washer is new (no dryer). Internet worked great.

We used to stay at a big hotel in Rangiroa, but really prefer the villa, more advantages. It has a real pool on the beach (not just a small one with no view) and the villa opens up to a stunning lagoon! The villa is large, spacious, modern, super clean, and very comfortable. We loved: - beautiful pool in front of the sea - the entire place opening up to the sea - Air conditioning in the living room, dining room, and kitchen (hard to find in Polynesia) - few small restaurants less than 5 minutes away by car and a supermarket just 3 minutes away on foot - Louis picking us up on the beach for excursions to the Blue Lagoon! - kayak trips were amazing - super comfortable beds - a private garden with no neighbors, the river, and the beach We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks this time!
