Maitai Rangiroa is located between the villages of Avatoru and Tiputa, on one of the largest lagoons in the Southern Hemisphere. We visited Rangiroa for the scuba diving and loved staying at the Maitai. It has a good location that is private and easy to use a taxi to get around. The excursions we took picked us up at the hotel for no additional charge. A supermarket is located right next door which is so convenient. We spent many evenings watching the sunset from the pool area and especially the dock. The room was spacious, clean, and comfy. The breakfast was included in our plan with was good having a large buffet. The food was good at dinner and a fairly good variety. We were welcomed by everyone that we encountered on the staff.

Nastanitev Raira Lagon z 2 zvezdicama se nahaja ob morju v Avatoruju in ponuja brezplačno izposojo koles, vrt ter zasebno plažo. Nastanitev ima bar in restavracijo z jedmi lokalne kulinarike. We went here for our honeymoon and also my husband's 30th birthday. The staff at Raira Lagon truly made everything as good as it could be for us, and made an amazing breakfast for my husband as I requested a surprise roomservice , thank you so much for this! The bungalow by the water is private , comfortable and beautiful! Daily cleaning, beautiful view, comfy and spacious bed, nice shower and bathroom. Everything you could wish for! Breakfast is good and is enjoyed with a lagoon view that is spectacular. Dinners are great and cocktails too, and sometimes they have traditional dancing shows by a local group which one should not miss! The snack by the hotel is also super great with tasty foods and drinks, so the availability for getting something to eat or drink is great always! The location is superb as it is close to the airport and in the middle of the main island , so you can easily get around to both ends of the island. Free bikes is a big plus!! And kayaks too. The staff also helped with booking excursions etc, which was very helpful. Will definitely come back when we visit French polynesia again! Thank you so much for making our stay amazing!!

Nastanitev LE FARE BLEU Tiputa Rangiroa se nahaja v mestu Tiputa in nudi brezplačno izposojo koles, vrt, teraso ter razgled na morje. Clean and lovely accommodation. Great shared kitchen area, with filtered water (which was unexpected). The decking was the best part, lots of loungers and hammocks to relax on whilst looking out at the lagoon. The breakfast was generous and ideal to have available first thing in the morning. Emmanuelle is a great host, gave excellent details about how to get there and arranged taxis to and from the airport (plus the boat taxi which is a unique way to get to your accommodation!). She also very kindly rang some of the tour operators to help us arrange lagoon tours. The place is in a quiet remote area, which is lovely and peaceful. It’s 3km to the shop and pizzaria, which took us just short of 15mins to get there on the free bikes to use at the accommodation. The dog and two cats are very nice and well behaved. We loved this little peace of paradise.

Nastanitev Poe Guesthouse je v Avatoruju in ima vrt, zasebno plažo ter teraso, na voljo pa je tudi brezplačen WiFi. We can’t thank Poe enough for her amazing hospitality. From start to finish she was very welcoming, professional and charming. She gave us a tour of the island by bike, took us fishing and cooked us some delicious dinners. The bungalow itself is lovely, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We also loved the breakfast with homemade yoghurt and coconut confiture - delicious! And it was very nice to have the bikes freely available for us.

Nastanitev Jeannine Lodge je v Avatoruju v regiji Rangiroa in nudi brezplačen WiFi ter brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. The location is hard to beat: it's within 10 walking distance from 3 dive shops, 2 groceries, 4 restaurants and the Tiputa Pass itself. They also provided me with a bicycle (and a headlight) which turned that into less than 2-3 minutes. The cabin was in a great condition. They even stocked the fridge with a food items which came in very handy on Sunday when the shops were closed. The beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. I saw many butterfly fish and even a few baby blacktips in the shallows. Jeannine and her entire family were amazing hosts. Highly recommended!

Nastanitev Chez Tamatuamai je v Avatoruju in ima vrt. Uporabljate lahko brezplačen WiFi in brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, na voljo pa je tudi terasa. Everything! The host is so incredibly kind, one of the nicest people we’ve ever met in our travels! ☺️ The bungalow/house you get is very comfortable, and large! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island. Close to restaurants and you have a snack bar right next-door, very close to the scuba diving center because that’s probably why you’re there (like us. Right?) Don’t hesitate, book right away! 😊

Nastanitev Monita villa Tiputa se nahaja v mestu Tiputa in ponuja brezplačno izposojo koles, vrt, zasebno plažo, skupni prostor za druženje, teraso ter razgled na morje. Na voljo je brezplačen WiFi. The location is amazing with direct access to the lagoon. Felix is a fantastic host. My partner and I had a wonderful stay there. Felix has been very welcoming and showed us some Tahitian customs (such as making your own coconut milk and make a raw fish plate with it).

Nastanitev Rangiroa Sunny House je v Avatoruju in ponuja vrt ter zasebno plažo. Nastanitev ob obali nudi dostop do terase, uporabljate pa lahko tudi brezplačno zasebno parkirišče in brezplačen WiFi. The view from this property is magnificent. You sit on the beach, water side and watch the sunset every night. The canopy of trees and the little thatched roof porch make a perfect viewing spot with your evening cocktail and music. It is really beautiful, quiet and private. We used the BBQ which was well stocked with wood and worked great (made meals on this for 4 nights). There is a stove/oven available. This is a small, charming beach house consisting of a main room (bedroom/sitting area), bathroom en suite, and kitchen open to a little porch deck. Main room is well air conditioned. Kayaks, snorkel masks, and bicycles are provided. Bed was very comfortable. Washer is new (no dryer). Internet worked great.

Nastanitev Blue Lagoon Villa s klimatsko napravo je v Avatoruju in ponuja verando. Ta vila ima zasebni bazen, vrt, predel za peko na žaru, brezplačen WiFi in brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. We used to stay at a big hotel in Rangiroa, but really prefer the villa, more advantages. It has a real pool on the beach (not just a small one with no view) and the villa opens up to a stunning lagoon! The villa is large, spacious, modern, super clean, and very comfortable. We loved: - beautiful pool in front of the sea - the entire place opening up to the sea - Air conditioning in the living room, dining room, and kitchen (hard to find in Polynesia) - few small restaurants less than 5 minutes away by car and a supermarket just 3 minutes away on foot - Louis picking us up on the beach for excursions to the Blue Lagoon! - kayak trips were amazing - super comfortable beds - a private garden with no neighbors, the river, and the beach We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks this time!
