The highlight of our trip was the pool - it was spotless, well-maintained, and the best part was that we had it entirely to ourselves, making it a truly relaxing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a huge variety of delicious options that catered to all preferences, including gluten-free choices. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of Gävle, making it convenient to explore the city. Overall, the combination of excellent facilities, top-notch service, and a peaceful pool experience made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The staff was very kind, even charming. And so was the Hotel, everything looked warm, smelled nice and had a character to it that made me want to commit a crime so i could stay in this "prison" a bit longer 😄

The location is amazing. Fantastic views and a few ski lifts right at the property. The room was spacious and the staff were friendly friendly.

Set 2.2 km from Göranssons Arena, Home Hotel Smedjan in Sandviken features a pool with a temperature of around 18 degrees Celsius, fitness centre and a sauna. Free WiFi is at guests' disposal. We were a group of family friends wanting to have a weekend ski trip and this hotel exceeded all our expectations. The breakfast and dinner were both very enjoyable and the hotel had all the facilities one needs. We will definitely consider coming back to the same hotel.
