The property is amazing, so beautiful , clean and such friendly staff. The breakfast is amazing and generous.

The resort is very well maintained and really nicely laid out. It’s very green with an own herb garden and an animal farm, fish ponds and many pools. The beach is clean and there were always enough sun beds for everyone. We really appreciated the kids club which is free of charge unless there are special activities like t-shirt dying, our 4yo daughter loved it and went every day. There’s also a kids pool with slides and shallow water. The breakfast buffet is really rich and offers enough variety for everyone to find something they like. We didn’t have any other food in the restaurants as we wanted to eat local dishes, but there are plenty of restaurants on the beach to choose from. The only time we ate at the resort was at the bistro by the kids pool and it wasn’t really good, plus you need to expect it’s quite costly. If you like Thai food, just eat elsewhere. Other then that we were really happy with everything (except for check-in) and would gladly come again of traveling with kids. Special shout out to Night - a waiter from Essence who took care of us during our private cooking school experience. He was an absolute delight and deserves a bonus!

It’s a small family-run B&B located just off the main road. The beach, the market, dive shops, and cafes/restaurants are all in walking distance (7-eleven literally across the main road.) The location itself is super quiet and the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Cleanest place and most heart-warming service I’ve experienced in Thailand. The husband-wife team will make you fresh eggs to order for breakfast and drive you to and from airport themselves.

The Retreat Khaolak Resort - SHA Extra Plus er staðsett í innan við 15 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Khukkhak-ströndinni og býður upp á nútímaleg herbergi með svölum og ókeypis WiFi. Clean spacious room, tasty breakfast! The staff is amazing. They arranged for us trips to Surin and Similan islands. Furthemore, they booked a van to our next destination. They even took us to a restaurant by a privat van. What kind of services! I highly recommed to stay there.

MJ Boutique Hotel Khao Lak er staðsett á friðsælu svæði á Khao Lak-suðurströndinni, í aðeins 100 metra fjarlægð frá ströndinni. Gististaðurinn býður upp á gistirými og veitingastað á staðnum. Room and bathroom are very nice, modern and clean. Nice view from the room balcony. Staff and owner (Jojy) extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice beach at less than 100 m from the hotel. Quiet location

Casacool Hotel er staðsett í Khao Lak, 700 metra frá Tsunami-minnisvarðanum - Rue Tor 813, og státar af garði og verönd. Amazing, hard-working ladies preparing great breakfast for you (it was just the beginning of our trip and we were happy to try so many fruits here) and doing free laundry!

We had the most incredible time at Cape Pakarang Wow! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the serene atmosphere and the beautifully maintained property. Our accommodations were not only stylish and comfortable but also felt like a luxurious home away from home. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, ensuring we had everything we needed and providing helpful recommendations for local activities and dining. One highlight of our trip was dining at the nearby Malamar Restaurant—an absolute must-visit for its exceptional food and welcoming ambiance. The location is perfect—secluded enough to feel like a private paradise but close enough to explore the surrounding areas with ease. We also appreciated the small thoughtful touches, like welcome treats and personalized service. We cannot recommend Cape Pakarang Wow highly enough. It’s truly a gem and the perfect place to relax and recharge. We’re already planning our return trip!
