We stayed one night on our trip along the Oregon coast. I say we were lucky to get a room here! Our GPS made it difficult to find but once we arrived (up a long, very steep driveway!) everything was fine. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was actually a small sitting room with a desk, couch, coffee table and small refrigerator and a large, separate bedroom with a super comfy king size bed! Plenty of room to spread out and a back garden view out the bedroom window.

It is a newly renovated hotel on the beach in Newport and was a perfect stay for 2 couples traveling the Oregon coast. All rooms were ocean view with small balconies. Each one had 2 chairs and a table. The room provided free snacks and water, a fireplace and filtered water for the coffee make. Even binoculars. There is no free breakfast but a food truck in the parking lot that sells wonderful brioche breakfast sandwiches and also sides such as eggs and bacon.

Our unit had just about the best wifi connection we've ever encountered at a hotel on the Oregon Coast. We were able to work remotely from our room without any connection issues. The unit does feel like a residential condo that you could live in a for a while and call home. The area is really quiet and surrounded by trees, making for a very different hotel experience than one would find elsewhere in Newport, such as the Nye Beach area.

If you want a nice place to stay that has some character, this is the place for you. This is a local hotel with a great owner interested in making your stay exceptional. If you want the chain hotel with no character, stay there. The owner gave us great local recommendations for food as well as sights to see and ones to avoid. It was a great place for a night on a two day trip to the Oregon coast.

Everything about this hotel was superior, the room and furnishings, the very welcoming staff, the location and the view. The price was quite a bit lower than we have paid for accommodation at several other hotels/motels along the Oregon coast - considering the overall level this is extremely good value for money. This was the last night of our holiday - what a lovely way to cap off a great trip.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you could need; it’s obvious that a lot of care and attention has gone into it. Thank you Debi and Scott for your friendly welcome and the treats you left for us! We will never forget the stunning views of the Oregon coastline from the Adirondack chairs in the garden.

It was a clean room with a comfortable bed. The shower had good water pressure and hot water. The central Oregon coast is beautiful and we spend most of our time exploring and have little need for hotel amenities. Clean and comfortable with a good hot shower is all we wanted and the Villa West provides this at a great value. Interaction with staff was minimal but professional and friendly.

We stayed in one of the apartments in the White Heron Lodge, and it was an excellent base from which to explore Cannon Beach and the northern Oregon coast! We loved the fireplace and full kitchen, and appreciated to option to use the murphy bed in the living room. And the view! We had a constant view of crashing waves. We also were within walking distance to lots of things in Cannon Beach.

The location was outstanding!!!!! It is right next door to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, and within a 10 minute drive you are at all the attractions, so close to a ton of food options, stores, gas stations, And the locals who live there are so friendly and personable it made all of us enjoy the trip even more!! 100% will stay here again, and will recommend it as well.

We stayed in one of the two bedroom suites. Great location. Apartment was immaculate. Comfortable beds, we slept extremely well. Not sure why so many people are complaining about lack of AC since that's typical on the Oregon coast. Each room has nice tower fans if you need them but even in mid September we had the heat turned on in the evenings.

It's an excellent location being right across the road from the beach. That is it's best selling point. The rooms are clean,if dated, but that's pretty standard along the oregon coast. There are newer hotels. but those are generally not on the beach. I don't spend much time in hotel rooms so not an issue for me

The views from the room were breathtaking. Staff very friendly upon check in. Room updated and as shown in pictures. We had an excellent time exploring the Oregon coast the location of the hotel was perfect for us to do so. We lit a fire on the beach and watched the sunset - just a minute walk from our room. Highly recommend!

The room was not very clean and I paid more than I should have. I would not recommend this hotel to others. I will find some place else to stay next time I go to the Oregon coast. Very disappointed, way too expensive.

My family and I were meeting halfway in Lincoln City to have an Oregon coast adventure. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The room was clean, the staff were friendly. The location is great.

The suite was huge and clean. The bed was large and comfortable. There were screens on the windows and a screen door out to the balcony (this is not always the case with hotels on the Oregon Coast).

It was the BEST hotel during our two week trip along the Oregon coast. We stayed only one day and wanted to prolong it, but it was already fully booked. We will book for three or four days next time.

Everything. We stayed at 6 hotels on our trip on the Oregon Coast and we liked them all but this was the best! Great location, great staff, fabulous amenities and a good breakfast in the morning.

Lovely room on the Oregon Coast. Even our partial ocean view was nice. Love that some rooms allow dogs. I liked that it’s on the south end of the big hotels rather than in the middle.

View of the ocean is fabulouse from our room. Easy to walk to the Bijou theater and Zellers restaurant on 101. Central location for going places on the Oregon coast.

Hotel is old but room was updated and clean, though small and minimalist. I expected more of a ‘beach area’ but this was my first time to the Oregon coast
