Hotel Contessa's suite rooms are spacious and we enjoyed being so close to the beautifully lit River walk and close to the nearby Cathedral which had illumination evenings with the history of Texas. The food at the onsite restaurant was good but be sure to make resies. and the hotel is also convenient to a wonderful museum of Western art and sculptures. For a Christmas time trip Contessa did work nicely for our small family utilizing two rooms next to each other. Our son enjoyed the pool and work out area. Dec. 2024

The hotel and room were very clean. The staff was kind, helpful, and professional. The area was perfect and walking distance to several local eateries and night life establishments in the area. Not too far from the airport, probably a 10 min cab or uber/lyft ride. The restaurant/bar in the hotel was also amazing with live music every night. Definitely a very chill atmosphere. I recommend staying there every time you’re in Austin. And you are next to the “tallest” building in Texas, talk about an easy landmark.

I have always try to stay there when I go to Edinburg ,Texas but I think I will be looking for another Hotel cause this one is starting to look bad . i away reservations a down stairs ahead of time and still and get there and end upstairs . and they tell me if I don’t want it that I don’t have to get the room I can go some where else this trip . I made reservations for 3 rooms none smoking 2 of them . we had to get air freshener and had to leave the door open for a while just to get some of the smell out .

I liked everything about it. I was visiting for my brother's graduation in the United States Air Force. The place was spacious. Jessica was very kind. I had a late flight coming in and needed instructions on how to get into the house, I called Jessica and she instructed me right away. Due to the graduation time, I needed a little extra time to come back to the house and pack, Jessica allowed me to have a late check out. If I ever visit San Antonio, Texas again, I would definitely stay back here.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The attendant in the breakfast room was nice and he even helped us figure out the self service Texas waffle griddle. The breakfast was good. I much prefer eggs and waffles over a continental breakfast. The hotel is pet friendly, has a small dog park and plenty of grassy areas for a quick dog walk. We got a room with a kitchen and it had everything we needed, even complimentary coffee. Overall a good value in a central location. We'd definitely return.

They have a really nice hot breakfast. The best part about this place are the employees specifically the front desk staff. I felt like I was hanging out with my family when I went in. They also help me with a couple of issues with my checking and went over and above to make sure that I had a pleasant stay there. I stay there several times. I love that they are pet friendly. The breakfast is hot and it’s super cute that they have waffles that are shaped like Texas! The pool area is gorgeous!

The Mansion on 17th itself is absolutely beautiful but the customer service level is what makes the hotel shine. We travelled throughout Texas on a leisure trip from the UK and by far the Mansion was the best place we visited. The level of hospitality is second to none, the breakfast was great and the location is fantastic. We wished we had more days in Galveston but for the hotel alone we will definitely be coming back. Would highly recommend!

Property was very clean and well maintained. Hotel manager was always present and made certain that staff was well-trained and displayed a cheerful attitude. Service here was excellent. By far the best hotel experience of the three we stayed at throughout central Texas, and surprisingly, the lowest cost. Housekeeping even replaced the towels each day, which was nice since this kind of service disappeared since Covid for no reason.

The room was spacious and CLEAN. The linens smelled clean. Not like bleach, but clean. The breakfast was good, but needed protein. Who doesn't love a Texas waffle? The coffee was hot and plentiful, and there was plain 1/2 & 1/2. PERFECT. There was even a nice tea selection! Yay! I needed a clean and safe place to sleep, not fancy. Island hotel delivered on my needs.

Check in person was most helpful, checked us in ahead of schedule so that we could attend a musical production slated for 2:00 PM. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Assigned us a very quiet section of the third floor. Excellent breakfast selection. We stayed at a Laredo, Texas La Quinta Hotel 2 weeks before and our stay in Fredericksburg was also most excellent.

The breakfast was really great and the Texas shaped waffles were so cool. This motel was VERY clean. I actually made a point to tell the desk attendant that I had taken note of the cleanliness of the motel and grounds. I travel very frequently for work and this Sleep Inn was as clean or cleaner than the majority of the 5 star Hotels that my company reserves for my work travel!

The hotel itself is quite modern and in a nice location. It had a heated pool and a decent gym, enough to get in some cardio after eating some Texas-sized meals. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There was also a window-side chaise lounge and small table for the lounge. There was a lot of parking and it was included in our room fee.

We loved the location, the staff, the room and the vibe of the hotel. It was walking distance to downtown but being on south congress, had such a far away feel. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. We are moving around a lot in Texas and this is by far our favourite hotel and we’ll be back the next time we’re in Austin!

This hotel has really nice staff, they gave me some good fishing spot tips and the rooms were very clean. The Texas shaped waffles were delicious, and the yogurt was fresh, I also enjoyed the fruit juice and the bagels. I do wish they had some sort of sausage, bacon and eggs. Other than that breakfast was delicious.

Nice breakfast with good selection and rotating items, including Texas shaped waffles. Pool just about warm enough. Basketball court. BBQs worked and hotel provided tongs. Nice Austin music themed lobby. Evening social three nights a week with beer and wine included. Most of the staff are friendly.

Undoubtedly the finest accommodation in Austin, Texas. The design is exquisite, with stunning rooms, and the security staff is both kind and approachable. Additionally, there's a charming Starbucks conveniently located within the hotel. The perfect location adds to the overall appeal.

First time in Texas and this Hotel has a great location if you are staying between flights but very far from the city centre if you are thinking of going. The staff was very friendly and helpful during my stay and the airport Shuttle was on time. I would recommend this Hotel for sure.

Despite Texas in February being cold (-6C, 21F), the apartment kept us nice & toasty. It is well-equipped, in a good location, with everything we needed & wanted in walking distance. It has ample parking. For a European couple staying in Austin for a family event, it was perfect.

The best Hotel we stayed in during our 2 week visit to Texas. Lovely Heated pool and hot tub, and the kickback wasn't as busy as the other Drury Inns, and the food was better too. The room was very spacious with a separate area for our son to sleep. Highly recommended.

the staff was extremely accommodating, almost to a fault, The hotel is located in a bad drug-infested area so you kind of gotta be careful, but that is nt La Quintas fault. THE continental BREAKFAST was fantastic, especially the Texas-shaped waffles, loved them.
