This well run hotel is in a great location for enjoying all that Atlántida has to offer. Staff are exceptional in all areas - reception, breakfast and housekeeping. Very comfortable rooms too and the whole team are very hospitable and friendly people. We had a serious medical emergency in the middle of the night and will be forever grateful for the attendance, swift response and caring actions of all staff.

Fully renovated beach hotel about 40 min from Montevideo, busy on the weekends but lots of free space during weekdays. About a two block walk from "downtown", beach is just across the street. Staff were really helpful, even baked up some celiac-friendly breakfast treats.

Pizzorno Lodge & Wine asub Progresos, 26 km kaugusel Tres Cruces Terminal'i jaamast. Kohapeal on hooajaline välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja ühine puhkeruum. Our stay at Pizzorno Wine Lodge, which is just a short drive from Montevido, has been an absolute delight. This bodega has been owned by the same family for three generations and was first planted in 1910 when the Pizzorno family arrived from Italy. We wanted to come and stay in the middle of a vineyard and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, good food and wines and from the moment we arrived we have been treated as very special guests. Nothing has been too much trouble for our hosts. With the most amazing scarlet sunsets we walked amongst the magical vineyards which were full of huge bunches of grapes just waiting to be picked. We toured the wine cellars where are all the wines are stored and sitting quietly in their tanks and barrels just waiting for the moment when they will be bottled and ready for the world to enjoy. We joined in the harvest where we struggled to pick the grapes and then started on the treading - gosh what a slippery job! We now really are aware how much hard work goes into creating a bottle of wine. We enjoyed delicious meals in the restaurant and of course enjoyed sampling the different wines. We are given home made cookies to enjoy with our afternoon tea, together with fresh fruits. We sit beside the pool surrounded by the moscatel grapes basking in the late afternoon sunshine.

Santoral Restaurante y Posada Pet Friendly asub Atlántidas. Kohapeal on hooajaline välibassein, aed, restoran ja baar. Characterful, refined: full of good taste. Great location. Spotless comfortable rooms retaining original features blended with modern comforts. Good bed, good linen, good bathroom. Lovely, welcoming, staff. Fine breakfast in the house and a good outdoor restaurant (but do check availability, especially when not staying at the weekend) in a garden setting with an African safari lodge feel. Room 6 is the best, at the top and at the front. I had this room this latest time but normally have room 2, which is smaller and at the back but very comfortable especially for the solo guest. This isn't really a place for families, but perfect for couples and the single traveller. I have stayed very many times in Atlántida, and at many places, and this will always be my first choice.

Nicely located in the nature. Room was good! We could check in in the middle of the night which was amazing! A bus to Montevideo can be caught within 20 mins walking. Only cash payment.

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast and coffee. I enjoyed sitting near the pool, relaxing in my super comfortable bed, and visiting with the dogs. The beach or restaurants are about a 10-15 minute walk away, perfect for a nice stroll in the morning before breakfast. I felt safe walking alone even after dark. The beach is very long and practically empty with soft sand but hardened near the shore which was perfect for walking. The ocean breeze was a nice treat to beat the heat. El Bambu was perfect for a couple days of relaxation. Highly recommend!
