We ended up getting an easy rider for my gf and I was riding behind him, that way we didn't need to worry about directions or missing the best spots, as well as accommodation or places to eat. I got an automatic 125cc and I strongly recommend it over the semiautomatic with 110cc.

The hosts Ninh and his wife Rose were the most awesome, kind and friendly people we have met in our month long Vietnam adventure. Great cooking, clean rooms and Rose makes an awesome Lemongrass, ginger and honey tea. We felt welcome at their place. If you want to do any motorbike trekking in Ha Giang, Ninh can arrange all of that as well as bikes, helmets etc. If we come back to Vietnam we will definately visit YOLO House again.

I can’t say enough good things about LiLa Inn, especially the staff. When we arrived we had the intention of driving the loop ourselves. Being from the USA, we unfortunately did not have the proper license to do. The front desk went over every possibility for us and took 2 hours of their time to figure everything out. They will hold your hand through the process, and that is worth the stay alone. We’re actually staying with them again when we head back to Ha Giang once we’re done with the loop.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Ha Giang Historic House. The building has so much asmosphere and the garden is lovely with even a swimmingpool. The pizza and pastas were also very tasty. The owner very friendly and helpful and can arrange everything for you. Plus they have 2 lovely dogs!

The bungalows were modern but with a traditional charm, super clean, hot running water with bathtub, heating and bed & bedding super comfy. Winnie helped to organise a bike and a recommended route for the Ha Giang Loop. Super communicative before our arrival and the family are all just so lovely and helpful. We’d definitely come back for sure.

It was probably the best price-value stay I had in all my trip. I booked the night on Booking (270VND) and was very impressed upon arrival. The place is new, the rooms feel very complete and the bed is soft and comfortable. There is a TV (with Netflix), aircon, and fan which all work great. Water (small bottles) and a kettle are also provided. The owner was very nice and helpful, even though he doesn’t speak English. They also have a save place on the ground floor to park your bike/motorbike safely. Very clean, good location, and quiet. Definitely worth staying here!
