Featuring a private beach and pool with ocean views, this luxury resort faces a beautiful lagoon surrounded by coral reefs. Located on the shore a real home from home. Beautiful gardens but most of all the people. The people were just so warm and friendly and helpful we really couldn’t have had a happier stay anywhere.
Mulifanua (Near Savaii)
Set within 224 acres of tropical gardens, the Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort boasts a lagoon-style swimming pool and a day spa. Each beachfront room features a balcony or patio offering ocean views. Loved the staff so helpful with everything took care of all my needs. Food was great didn’t have a complaint about any of it. Breakfast buffet beautiful. Would love to see more island food available. Pool and beach was just awesome to have right there. Also the swim up bar. Location is right next to the airport so perfect for that. I would rather drive into town than stay in town. So being away from it all was good for me. They have an amazing spa the Samoan massage was the best I ever had. It’s away from the resort a short stroll past the beach secluded and private. They also had a small gym that had what you would need. They have a great kids club and very caring staff they even look after kids while off duty. Also have a small gift shop with lil things you might need. They also do some lava lava painting activities and umu cooking experience, weaving and singing. Definitely would be back!

Ifiele'ele Plantation is a recently renovated holiday home in Maauga, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, garden and tennis court. Ifiele’ele Plantation is a really beautiful property. We stayed in The Villa & just loved it. The glass doors open out to a patio where you can sit, looking out over the beautiful pool & an amazing vista beyond. Perfect place to read a book & listen to the birds. Paul & Joan were fabulous hosts, really friendly & helpful but not the slightest bit intrusive. They made us feel very welcome.
Wherever you stay in Savai'i, it pays to travel around as the main attractions are very spread out across the whole island. Saleloga is close to the ferry. The savaiian hotel has a good restaurant and was a comfortable and friendly place to stay.
Best thing about Manase besides the people is the beach for swimming, snorkelling and/or just with a drink on the beach or sitting in the ocean. Grab a pizza from opposite Le Lagoto. The Savaiin will be my next accomodation port of call - I've heard lots of good things about this unassuming facade in Manase beach 👍
Very quiet island. Definitely need to rent a car to enjoy all aspects of Savaii
Beautiful place to visit, beautiful beaches and friendly locals . You haven't seen Samoa if you haven't been to Savaii.
Such a huge Island. The Savaiian is nestled between the villages on the beach. Unfortunately the beaches are not swim worthy. Good for kayaking though, luckily this hotel has a pool Will stay here again for sure. My son loved the banana smoothies. All the staff, especially front desk were so helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed Savaii, Asau was a nice little village very quiet !! Yes it is easy to get around Asau, they just need clear signs showing where petrol stations are & the wharf.
Loved the local ferry across from main island Upolu to Savaii. Locals are very relaxed living self-sustainable community lifestyles. amazing tidy gardens and colourful homes. The employees at our resort were extremely hospitable. the food was well cooked, with great seafood meals. great relaxed atmosphere. enjoyed the local sightseeing tour. We only had x 2 nights stay here, but wished we stayed longer.
Manase
Absolutely loved our stay a Stevensons. Definitely nice to get away from the busy Capital of Samoa. Savaii is the island to be for a relaxing time away from urban city.
