The absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The lack of communication. The dirty rooms. The double charging us of our room. No power and no communication of no power. My 12 week old went limp from the heat due to no aircon!!

The resort looks great! The pool area was the highlight for us! Perfect spot to chill out sipping some cocktails.
The room was also great. Nice jacuzzi, very clean and well maintained.

The pool was incredible! Also loved that they had a shared kitchen and laundry on site. Staff were very kind. Excellent value for money.

The Mai Tai Resort made us feel like we were overseas.
The room was beautiful, and the four posted bed . Wow. With a table and chairs outside, we got to be amongst the rainforest with the most amazing view.
A beautiful continental breakfast and amazing local fruit is available with once again a spectacular morning view.
Very relaxing 3 nights, wished we booked for longer.
The host was very welcoming and enjoyed his company with an afternoon wine.

So happy we found this place 💕
Mai Tai resort is everything we hoped for. A peaceful retreat, with killer views and hospitable hosts. Anthony and Andre went out of their ways to make our stay special. We especially appreciated Andre’s helpful tips for our trips up to the Daintree. The room was spacious and well appointed - it lacked for nothing. We’ll definitely be back!
This resort is the definition of tranquility, with incredible decoration and surrounds. It is in the perfect location to access a range of activities and sights. The hosts are generous and welcoming, they made us feel comfortable and totally at home. A highlight for me was the delicious and colourful breakfast with exquisite views each morning. I will miss the beautiful Spode plates and morning welcome from their gorgeous dogs!
Mai Tai Resort is in a secluded and private location and is convenient enough to travel to Port Douglas or surrounds as we had our car. The breakfast every morning was fresh and filling, and Andre and Anthony were very attentive to make sure we were comfortable. The view at breakfast from the outdoor dining area looking over the mountain was relaxing and was a great way to start each day.
