The double bed was to small i could feel the springs which was uncomfortable, I would recommend something a little bigger and firmer mattress,

Absolutely loved having a beach view room with a balcony to take it all in. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The lagoon pool was the perfect spot for relaxing and sharing a quiet drink. We look forward to coming back and staying on the lagoon.
Things that could be improved; the bed was two king singles pushed together and it wasn’t very comfortable. There was also no headboard, which gave the room an unfinished feel. The room had mismatched glasses that weren’t particularly clean, we ended up using paper cups to enjoy a drink on the balcony. The casino pool is stunning but it’s designed to have a party vibe so the loud music is off putting if relaxing is what you’re after.
Located 5 km from Darwin CBD and 7 km from Darwin Airport, is Darwin Resort. The refurbished resort offers modern air-conditioned rooms with an LCD TV, fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities.

Loved Palm City Resort, there is no lift to the 1st floor units, but thankfully the most pleasant reception staff offered to help carry our cases up the stairs. The facilities are excellent and our breakfast's were such good value at $20/person special rate if you book them at check-in. The outside breakfast area is a tropical setting we loved it. 🌴😄 The cheeky check-in parakeet was a delight and a really lovely extra bonus to our stay.
The Garden Bungalow was clean, set in the palms and garden. Good bathroom and comfy bed. Within walking distance to the Waterfront and shopping. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort was very quiet, surprising as its right in the city. The swimming pool was lovely in the centre of the garden.
We like the location of the resort. We also liked that it was airconditioned before hand. The beds were comfy. The rooms were decent but overall it wasnt great.
This is my second time staying at Mindil Beach Resort. I love the service. They are very helpful, friendly and professional. I will definitely look forward to staying here again. The breakfast service was also good when the staff greed respectfully to me and my husband.
Resort room was beautiful and spacious. Being able to slip into the pool off your own private deck was such a luxury. Outdoor area was amazing to have a few quiet drinks and room service for dinner by the pool.
