We loved our stay at the Dragonfly Beach Retreat. The owner was so kind and helpful. The room was clean. We felt like we had a private beach. We loved listening to the waves and animals at night.

Located in Cahuita, a 7-minute walk from Negra, Pura Vida Vegana provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

A very comfortable and pleasantly furnished little house with a well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, outdoor eating area and very nice, helpful owners. Within easy walking distance to the black sand beach. Probably need a car to drive out to eat in the eve, although just a mile or so north of Cahuita. Wonderful to have access to the next door resort pool and restaurant. Very pleasant for our 3 night stay. Do not miss walking the Cahuita National park hike- a five mile length (8 K) with amazing rain forest and beach walk.

The nature surrounding and within the property is really worth checking out. The pool is clean and gorgeous. Clean pathways and lots of trees to admire.

We liked that it was in the middle of the forest, very peaceful place. We also liked how the accommodation looked, cozy and natural and a bit luxury that's what made us book. It has a sustainable and natural concept which is very nice.

Individual bungalows with privacy and kitchen. New management (dutch family of 4 + dog and chickens) done a nice job revamping the place. Resort is in the middle of nature, away from main road, though this means you need a car to go anywhere (beaches, national park, restaurant). No worries, you get all the good info/tips from the owner.

Extremely happy with this hostel! Great location close to the bus station and the national park Cahuita (as well as the small village and supermarket) The owners were really nice and helpful! The cleanliness and all the facilities felt like luxury so the relation quality/price was exceptional! Best shared showers and big lockers (with cute paintings - just a detail but still). Also the garden and the kitchen was amazing! I really recommend this place!
