Peaceful location in the jungle. We arrive at 11pm due to weather delays after a day of travel with no food. They left a lovely meal for us in our room. As we vents unfolded re delayed flights we had great communication with them via Whats App.

My third time at Kuda Laut and was not disappointed by the facilities, the hotel personnel, the dive crew and of course the Bunaken and Siladen dive sites

Great food and staff….great snorkeling right out front. Also easy to arrange a boat for snorkeling farther afield.

We loved our stay at Bunaken 18! We took a quick weekend trip from Manado, and found the location is extremely convenient—it was near where the public boat from Manado dropped us off, making it easy to get to on foot. It is also so nice being right on the beach — the boat pulled right up to the property to pick us up for snorkeling. This resort just opened in May, and it is managed by the lovely Nita. She is extremely friendly and service-oriented, happily helping us organize a fabulous snorkeling trip, as well as a private taxi back to Bahowo. Our room was clean and comfortable (with AC😅), there were handy foot sprays right outside each room, and the handheld shower in the bathroom had great water pressure and a soothing spray. The breakfasts (cooked by Nita) are huge and delicious, and their slushy fruit juices, which Nita greeted us with the moment we arrived, are yummy and refreshing! You can also order lunch and dinner for an added fee. The resort is small, just 5 guest rooms, so we felt personally catered to.
The only warning I’ll give travelers to Bunaken Island in general (NOT at all the resort’s fault!) is that WiFi AND 4G can be spotty depending on the weather.
Nomad Divers Bangka features a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Manado. Guests can dine in the restaurant or a drink at the bar and free WiFi is available.

Honestly, what is there not to like. Food, amazing. Staff, amazing. Diving, amazing. Location, amazing.
I got a recommendation from a friend on Bunaken, and they way she spoke about this place made my decision to go have a look. Nothing beats word of mouth, and she ain’t lying. What a wonderful part of the world.
I initially was only supposed to stay 3 nights? But I extended my stay another week. I was so happy in this secluded environment, in my little bungalow which was more than I could have asked for. I slept so well, with the windows open to all the nature and my heart happy in the little cocoon of my mosquito net. They even provide mosquito coils outside your bungalow for double protection.
These little touches, like water in your room and having help carrying my insanely heavy bags to my room felt like I was a VIP. I’m old, I’m tired of carrying my diving stuff everywhere. But with a boat drop right to the doorstep and a pickup service of finding me somewhere over in the Bunaken area to them was seamless. Thank you Kate. I know people are stressful but communicating with you was a breeze.
They have Wi-Fi. And because I work and travel that was an added bonus seeing I was basically touch and go on Bunaken.
James is an excellent host and dive leader, his enthusiasm for everything, land, sea and everything in between, including our time in the village, putting up with me, running the place and making sure that everyone is happy (must be exhausting) makes you realise why they both decide to call Nomad there home.
I will send cheeseburgers.
Thank you both so much. It was honestly the highlight of my trip around Sulawesi and something that I will not forget so soon. I honestly think it’s the best kept secret (so I wouldn’t want to share but I’m telling everyone) and I was lucky enough to have the boat to myself some days, but also when the other guests were there it was our little family.
I wish you guys the best! X
Travelers who really want to “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal on-site amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions, and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas, or apartments.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable. So are all common areas so you can take a break from Manado heat at NDC. The pool do the job, you can actually do some swimming workout here. Location is close to Manado, so if you are looking for remote naturę close resort and a white beach choose something else. BUT there is really nice garden and a jetty overloocking the sea, wirh great sunset views. To sum up, 8-9, for the special price we had at booking.com.
Amazing resort for diving and other activities. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean and have large windows, which gives the feeling to be in the middle of nature.
The diving equipment, boat and guides are great and allow for excellent diving experience. However, don't miss to do the activities as well. The local guides are really nice people and can tell a lot about the local life and things to see on the tours. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The resort was amazing, services were well priced and enjoyable, food and drink was delicious! And all the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We throughly enjoyed our stay at cocotinos and we will be back!
we love the quietness of this remotely located resort! The swimming pool, garden and the jetty are nice...
The staff are kind and helpful.
The bathroom is unique and the room is big enough for our family of 3 people. They set the sofa into a bed for our teenage boy and he loves it! :)
The staff were so attentive and pleasant. They really made us feel welcome and t home.
The dive staff were highly professional - we decided not todice at another resort due to their professionalism so we were really pleased and had a high degree of confidence
This is neither a luxury or a budget resort. It is a very good middle ground resort and that is their business niche which is important in that there are several very expensive resorts at one end of the resort spectrum and home stays at the other end. This is positioned right in the middle and perfect for divers that want to experience coral and muck diving. Their motto is leave as a friend and they meet that goal. Staff are great.
Very friendly and helpful team of people in the resort, from reception to the diving team. We had a great time staying at Thalassa resort. The place is very relaxed, and the food is delicious and fresh. We also really enjoyed our diving and day trip with the resort. Thank you.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff both on the resort and diving center were extremely helpful, and provided a professional service with a smile. The bungalows are tastefully decorated and in good condition. The garden, restaurant, pool area... everything works well. The diving in the area is as good as it gets. Even snorkling you can get really close to the marine life.
Resort has a good common area and nice pools that sets it apart from competition. Good rooms, comfortable beds, no outside noise.
Best part was the amazing service and help from the owners. Solving any surprise situation (find a new dive guide when planned one was sick), to cooking personalized food and treat for kids, to shopping for special items (visit 4 supermarkets to find what's asked for)
