Beyond my expectations!
Located in a very quiet and natural area. Recommended for those seeking peace and tranquillity, and wishing to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Also suitable for longer stays.
Suitable for families with children. Possibility to have breakfast on site.
Great location for visiting the Borobudur temple (only 8 minutes by car, about 30 minutes walk).
The staff was very friendly and kind.
The room was very clean and smelled good. The bed was comfortable and very big.
We appreciated the bathroom set provided (slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and shower gel), we also appreciated the comfort of the pillows, the sofa, the big TV, the WI-FI and the outdoor area next to the room (offered a table and two sofas, great if you want to sip a cup of tea outside while chatting).
We will definitely stay there again in the future!

One of the best resort in Indonesia and the world. We’ve booked 3 villas, 2 modern pool villas and grand spa villa. The reception during our arrival was very friendly, warm and professional. We loved our breakfast at Patio Restaurant as the view from our table was amazing, you can see Borobudur temple and mountains around from it. Variety of al carte menu available to suit our needs. The villa and the resort environment also very tranquil and silent, it is best for our resilient holiday away from crowd and hectic. Mr. Bimo who was our guest liaison provide a very professional and courtesies service and helps during our stay. All the staff from concierge, buggy service, F&B servers and spa therapies provides us a very warm and professional services. It is one of the best Plataran Resort in the world.

This place way exceeded our expectations and we immediately felt immersed in nature.
Our room was very spacious, beautifully furnished with a good bathroom. Very comfortable bed and the TV on the middle wall swivelled round so you could watch from the bed or the sofa! Very clever extra touch.
The grounds were just beautiful with gorgeous plants, plenty of places to sit and relax, a lovely pool and even a model of the temple of Borobudur!
We enjoyed walking around the local area in the early morning - so peaceful and such stunning scenery.
Plenty of choices for dinner & breakfast in the restaurant made this all add up to a truly memorable stay and also excellent value for money.

What an amazing hotel is this. The service was amazing. And so is the view over the hills of Borobudur. I read about the poor breakfast so I was a little worried. I don’t know how people think the breakfast was simple and poor. Everything was freshly made, typical Indonesian and a lot of choice and variety. If you don’t like this type of food consider stay at home with your scrambled eggs and burgers you culture barbarian :)
