The taste of breakfast was very good, which means the chef is outstanding, but in terms of serving the breakfast or management of breakfast, Nepal Cottage Resort has a huge space to improve. Such as - all the ordered items don't come in an expected manner, when multiple items are ordered, the waiter lose the track of items(it happened every time by 2 waiters).
Especially the receiptionist Sourav's service was very friendly and warming.
The location is peaceful and soothing. But in terms of room service - TV were not working in 2 rooms (the 2 rooms we stayed), the commode flash was not working properly in 103 that is a real mess. But Nepal Cottage Resort didn't compensate for this which questions the professionalism!
In addition, comparing the price with the other hotels, it seemed Nepal Cottage Resort charges extensively high which will demotivate the tourists to choose Nepal Cottage Resort.
In the 2nd phase(28th and 29th January 2025) I didn't book through Booking.com but booked physically where I got 3,000 NPR discount comparing with the 1st phase(24th and 25th January, 2025), for the same services. This is also professionally not fair.

Owner and staff were ready to help. The owner even lended his scooter for us.

Rooms are of decent quality, as expected from average country guesthouse around the world.
They are not heated, the same as everywhere in the neiborhood, but hot shower is available.
A bunch of routes in walking distance around: village+memorial park, temples, waterfall.
Expect ~20 kph speed down the NH18 unpaved road, probably 4x4 only after rain.
They served us huge plates of Dāl bhāt for each lunch and a dinner, for that charged additional 3 USD per serving per person at departure.
