The room itself was spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
The bathtub in the room was luxurious and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always ready to assist with any request.
It would have been great if there had been a variety of food available at the breakfast buffet. Also, the pillows were too high, causing discomfort and strain on my neck.

Very beautiful place, stunning views from window and balcony. Wooden design and furniture creates nice cozy atmosphere. Food was okay, breakfast included, also nice. Quiet place to relax. Most important that rooms have conditioner and electric blankets, you won't get cold during your stay in this high altitude at winter. Basically i loved everything there.

Views are super amazing from the Resort and good thing they provide free pick-up and drop-off service and also they allow for early check-in and late check-out. They also did free room upgrade without any extra chargers.
From the very first moment we felt cared for. What I especially love about this beautiful place is the staff… many other staff at nearby resorts in Nepal are like perfect servants and stewards the whole time. But here they were also funny, imaginative, and talkative.
They didn’t just ask how your day was but knew how to carry a conversation.
The WiFi and setting (view, tables, outdoor monsoon roof) were beyond our expectations! We didn’t want to work from anywhere else.
I recently spent two nights at this place, and it was a truly unique experience….The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the serene atmosphere made it the perfect spot for meditation. Each morning, I found a quiet corner among the rocks, which felt almost charged with a special energy. It was incredibly healing, and I left feeling deeply refreshed and rejuvenated….If you’re seeking a tranquil place to relax and recharge, I highly recommend this resort.
I recently stayed at Rock Garden Resort in Pokhara and had an exceptional experience. The natural beauty surrounding the resort is stunning, with lush greenery and breathtaking views of the mountains and lake. The accommodations were comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. My time there was probably the best I've ever had, making it a perfect retreat for nature lovers. Highly recommended!
I had an amazing time at Rock Garden Resort. The landscape and greenery were beautiful, and I loved feeling the constant breeze throughout the property. The views of the lake, mountains, and city were absolutely stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset—they felt truly magical. The food was delicious, and the rooms had such a charming, cozy feel. It was a perfect getaway!
I recently stayed at Rock Garden Resort in Pokhara, and it was an incredible experience. Located on a private hill close to the city, it offers the same stunning views as Sarangkot. Every morning, I woke up to see the mountain range illuminated by the golden rays of the sun. The evenings were equally magical with a beautiful golden hour. The rooms were comfortable, not luxurious, but they had a rustic charm that made the stay unique and cozy. If you're looking for a serene escape with amazing views, Rock Garden is the place to be.
This must certainly be the best hotel resort in Nepal! Mr Dorje built a stunning resort with amazing rooms, wonderful landscaping and gardends, top notch spa facilities and an excellent staff. I’m travelling a lot and also stay in luxury resorts and this is on par with European/Asian or US top resorts! Everything is brand new and super clean. I highly recommend this place to treat yourself before or after your trek, or just to relax. It is definitely worth the price!
Thank you for your great hospitality!
The first real luxury resort we encountered after 6 weeks in Nepal that has real 5 star standard. Lots of wood and plants, beautiful new rooms and clean amazing pool. Great staff, food and service too. And a new TV with fast internet Netflix, Prime and Co. Highly recommended!
By the way the one 1.0 rating below seems unrealistic. I just dont see why someone staying at this beautiful place would give it the worst possible rating.
Having completed the crossing of Torong La on the Annapurna Circuit I wanted a little luxury. The Bar Peepal resort on Pokhara was exactly what the doctor ordered. Calm, tranquil, high on a hill looking out over the lake but only 10 minutes walk from the Lakeside party area. Very professional staff, very good restaurant and bar, lovely secluded gardens to sit and read and, of course, the infinity pool. I would definitely go again.
