Le Maitai Polynesia is situated in the south of Bora Bora on Matira Point Beach.

The hotel exceeded all my expectations! That we extended our stay there, Simply highly recommended! Perfect value for money! Beautiful rooms! Especially the sea view is amazing! It is definitely worth it! And the bungalows on the beach are amazing! The beach is super cool with excellent diving! Free kayaks/mask/tubes/ Very good breakfast, How many different little things and how nice! And the most important thing is the staff! It feels like all the kindest and nicest people gathered in one place! Especially front desk is above all praises! From the first minutes as they met us with flowers and drinks and their friendliness and smile and so the whole holiday! Especially want to note Giulia and Mahinatea these two wonderful girls create such a particularly kind and heartfelt atmosphere and super professionals of their work! It is so valuable! Super cool all day excursion around the lagoon organised by a local family - I recommend it wholeheartedly! The shop with pearl jewellery made with love in the hotel deserves your attention! Everything in this hotel is made with love! Thank you very much! We will dream of coming back to you again!🙏❤️

One of the best rooms/hotels of our stay in French Polynesia. The room was big and comfortable, the garden was very beautiful and the beach had a great view. The quality of the restaurant was quite high and I was impressed by the large selection of vegetarian options. The cocktails were also very good (Virgin/Piña Colada was much better than in one of the exclusive resorts on the motus). Both the receptionists and the waitress were very kind and supportive.

Nice beach area. The rooms (all across the road from the beach) were clean and comfortable if a little tired. The air con worked well. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. There are restaurants and a little supermarket close by. Close to Matira Beach which happened to be more sheltered from wind while we were there. Cheaper than the 2 big resorts close by (whose restaurants are better but you can eat there without staying)

The overwater bungalows were incredible! Pristine water views of the fish and ocean. If you come, you have to pay extra for the overwater bungalow! It’s such a dream to stay here. The staff are friendly and very attentive. We had an issue which was sorted straight away.

Stayed in an Overwater bungalow. Excellent value for money. Picked up from the Ferry terminal and transferred. Meet and greet good. On site restaurant good. Towels and bedding clean and changed regularly. Supermarket 10 minutes walk away.

The overwater bungalow was by far the best and nicest one of our honeymoon in French Polynesia. The entire hotel property is spotless. The views -from everywhere you look- are stunning. It feels like a 5-star resort, way more than other 5-star resorts on the islands.

Amazing overwater bungalow at a more reasonable price than most resorts offering this type of accommodation. The lagoon is wonderful and a great snorker spot is very close by. Bungalow and bed comfy, small corals below some suits are a great add-on. The hotel provides snorkelling tools and kayaks/SUPs to borrow. The hotel is located on the island which makes it easier to move around and be more independent, without having to pay the hefty boat trips back and forth the hotels on the motus and the islands.
