Featuring a garden, a terrace and an outdoor swimming pool, Torarica Resort offers free Wi-Fi and restaurant in Paramaribo. The commercial and financial area is a 15-minute walk.

Property was fine but service was not worth my penny. Everything is very slow and outdated. The people working there are not well trained or don’t like their job. Had to wait so long to check in after a 10 hours flight, while i provided all details beforehand. Also no effort was made to counter any inconvience whatsoever.

Set in Tamanredjo, 28 km from Paramaribo Central Market, De Plantage offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

Lovely quiet and beautiful setting next to an amazing forest with great walking opportunities, cozy huts and a very very welcoming owner who walked you around and took all his time to explain everything you wanted to know about the plants, species and the area.

Great environment with signposted trail. Boat trip to the resort (250 SRD per trip, regardless the number of people) gives the feeling of leaving everything behind. Traveling by boat on the river to spot dolphins was great; wonderful scenery and many dolphins. Verhalenmuseum is a must see.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. The pictures don't serve much justice. There's this particular staff by the name of Petronella she's golden ✨️ 💛. JACANA 100 POINTS. 💯

The room was nice, the beds surprisingly comfy, they have a pool, the staff was always super nice, and it is located in the UNESCO heritage site. The house is the cheapest in town, so for the price range probably also the best you can get. Don't expect luxury, but for a backpackers get away, it was perfect. I stayed 2 nights more than planned.

A convenient, riverside location close to a casino and a bunch of restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful but, at times chaotic especially at their "resort" hotel. My favorite part, however was visiting the pier bar at the Resort hotel around sunset.

The professionalism, understanding and hospitality displayed by manager Mr Saagar Dhawtal is the only reason I will stay at Jacana Resort again. He ensured that our stay was comfortable and grant solutions to make sure we were satisfied. I would definitely give him a 10 star rating if that is possible for his exceptional ability and attitude. He understands the true meaning of hospitality to make you feel comfortable.

Breakfast is sumptuous and the food is good! The staff is good and the facilities in the hotel are good, at least it met my trip demands considering it was an official trip and not luxury. Jamil, the property manager is responsible and helpful. Mr Shaika, the owner of the hotel also was very helpful and assisted with getting some medical supplies i had to get, he was kind enough to get it for me.

My family and I loved everything about the resort. The decor, the warmth and ambiance of the environment, friendly and well trained staff all made our stay enjoyable. I loved the health and wellness features.
