We spent 4 nights at Phu Chalet and Wes wish we could have stayed longer. It is the most fantastic location next to the sea but has a small village within 10 minutes walk with a few bars and restaurants. The chalets are really beautiful with gorgeous views. Don’t miss the Camel Rock and bat and the pineapple rice at Pad Thai is fantastic. We only ate Phu Chalet on our last nice which was a mistake because the food was possibly the best we have eaten so far. Thankyou Chon, Kem, Pop and Layla and of course the rest of the team for making our stay extra special

Location: The resort is in a relatively calmer part of Koh Phi Phi Don island but at the same time it is not in a totally isolated location. There is a little village just behind the resort, where you can find few restaurants, bars, shops, grocery stores, exchange office and a pharmacy. If you are looking for a nice resort and want to have chilled time but do not want to be in a completely remote and isolated place, then this is the place for you. Also you can rent a boat (either through the hotel or directly with the villagers) for 4 or 6 hours for drop-off and pick-up to/from the main town for a fun night at the main town's beach bars, fire shows etc. Beware of the tide timings, which might affect your boat trip (we had to walk in knee deep water to reach the boat during low tide).
Room: We stayed in a beachfront junior suite and it was absolutely amazing! Luckily, our suite (115) was the one closest not only to the beach but also to the fun pool, so we could use them both from the sunbeds in our own patio. There is an indoor and outdoor shower and a jacuzzi with a view, which were all amazing.
Pool / beach: We only used the fun pool as it was right next to our room, which was nice. There is a bar inside the pool, where you can have your drinks while you are still in the water. They make very good cocktails. The beach is also nice but you need to follow the tide timings. During our stay (early April), the best time for swimming was approximately between 10am and 2pm during high tide. In the low tide, the sea goes few hundred meters away so the pools (or a boat trip) become your only option for swimming.
Boat trip: Definitely recommended! We arranged a private speed boat through the hotel for 6 hours. It took us to all the islands and beaches in the area. Good for snorkeling as well.
Others: Don't bring any towels. The hotel gives both for shower and for beach / pool / boat trip. We had a couples massage which was very nice.

Overall experience was good. The location is amazing and breakfast was great too.
The only disappointment was that first they put us in a twin room instead of the double bed we booked. They did so despite the fact we informed them weeks in advance that we are on our honeymoon. When I pointed out that this is not the room we booked, they said they can't give us the room we booked for the first night as they are fully booked. So we stayed one night out of 3 nights in separate beds. Then we could move to another room but we had to go through the room checkout process at 11am and we received the new room only at 2pm..
I am highlighting this because we booked well in advance and we were disappointed by the fact they did not mention their mistake at the check-in and just tried to get away with it..

This isolated stunning beach resort had delicious food and the kindest staff. The massage was incredible and the short hike to the phi phi lookout was so worth it.
Perfect location, Rooms very cosy, Exceptionally great staff very friendly and helpful, Very relaxed atmosphere during the day. I had organised with the resort for a romantic suprise for my partner, and they exceeded my expectations it was absolutely beautiful. If we come back to Phi Phi, we will definitely be staying here at Coco Beach resort again.
Private beach is really nice and never too busy. Room was really nice, had a luxury hut atmosphere. Nice vibe around resort bar and beach. Feels really in the jungle at one with nature. Good if you want to relax. Staff were very helpful.
Phi Phi Island is partying a lot. It goes boom boom until 2 or 3 AM. There are, however, lots of nice things to see on and around the island. It is the best place to go diving in Thailand as well. So... If you want to go there and you want peace and quiet during the night, Private Beach Resort is your choice.
Very nice and friendly staff, good food, private beach (literally no other tourists ever come here), nice accommodation. If I'm ever on Phi Phi Island again, I'll stay here for sure.
We stayed in Standard room first which was cute and romantic. Quiet and near mini beach we loved. Not so the luxury room we upgraded to on our last night. part of 4 which was noisy with footsteps above. The standard room was much better location. Awesome resort with natural wood furnishings and sand underfoot. I felt super relaxed there.
Everything was perfect ; wonderful beach ; lovely beach restaurant ; two nice swimming pools ; very kind personnel. We staid here with our 3 young children and they really enjoyed.
Thank you Phi Phi beach resort for this perfect stay.
Very clean and beautifully arranged resort, with a minimalistic flair, but a luxury touch. Each one of the staff represented what the resort values stay for, we felt warmly welcome and valued as guests. All amenities were thoughtfully arranged and maintained. The location is situated in a tropical paradise. We had our wedding ceremony at Zevola. A lifelong memory for sure. This was not the last time for us to visit this stunning place. We can only highly recommend this one of a kind boutique resort.
Really enjoyed our time at Phi Phi Relax Beach resort. Nice, bohemian bungalows and tree houses, close to nature, private beach and nice staff. They were very helpful to arrange tours of the island and maya Bay and also transport back to mainland.
The hotel is only reachable by a long tail boat from Tonsai Pier, which takes about 20-25min, easy ride. Nicely located, secluded, pleasant beach resort, but with limited means. For instance no pool, but the sea is good enough. The restaurant is very good, with great variety, delicious stuff. Bfast was a bit lousy according to me though.
Great location and absolutely beautiful view from the room and balcony. It was a lovely beach resort. We're so happy we stayed out of the town at this resort. Also a great fire show on the beach, its one of our favourite resorts we've been to.
