FranceThe pool was lovely and partly shaded, which allowed you to stay in longer on a hot day. There was no beach but you could reach the sea by walking down some steps. The water was clean and warm.

It was relatively close to other resorts if you wanted a change of scenery (although you need a car). We hired bikes from the resort and cycled around the island, which was great. The food and drink was very reasonably priced and they even organised a 1/2 island tour which I really really recommend.
