It's a family-owned resort, stand right by the beach. Iwan, the manager of the resort, picked us up from the airport. He speaks English well and very friendly. So upon our arrival till departure, all the staffs there, Iwan, Orfi and Angel, were so helpful and tried to make our stay convenient, and to this, we may say they did a super job. 👏👏👏

The hotel is beautifully designed and in a beautiful area very close to some picturesque beaches. The staff are very friendly and attentive and make it easy to organise trips and activities so you can experience Sumba. Surf lessons are a lot of fun and the village tour and waterfall tour are both great. Cocktails were really good, as was the food at breakfast. The hotel seems to have a good relationship with the local people and seems to have genuinely benefitted Sumba.

The food was delicious and service was exceptional. After 3 days we felt very at home :) we visited the nearby beaches - stunning white sand. We did a tour of the village which was very informative and we loved seeing the local life. Eka was our guide, along with Dini, and both were amazing to spend the day with, we loved their sharing of Sumba knowledge and history. We even forgot something when we left and they drove it to us. This was not only lovely accommodation but a super enriching experience that we will never forget. Thank you!

Everything was perfect, fantastic facilities, staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the beach is possibly one of the most beautiful in SEA, perfect conditions for surfing, the food is delicious, even a doctor on site who could help out our son immediately when he felt a little funny.

Fresh and made with local ingredients. We loved each meal. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the island. The owners are kind and very friendly. We loved every minute in here. Everything was homecooked and made we love. There is no plastic and waste in here and there is free water to have at all times.

Rua Beach Resort Sumba er staðsett í Rua, 80 metra frá Rua-strönd og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og verönd. Gestir geta notið útsýnis yfir sundlaugina. My father and I enjoyed very much our stay in Rua hotel. We had a clean and spacious room facing the beach. We could hear the sound of the waves at night. The mattress is very comfortable, there is hot water with good pressure, and the AC works perfectly, although we did not used at night since it is not needed. The hotel is in a quite area and has a nice swimming pool. The beach near by can be walked with low tide. The hotel is in a great location to explore the area around.
