Milí majitelé - pan majitel šel s námi k želví pláži a půjčil nám červenou baterku (s jiným světlem se za želvami nesmí). Snídaně byla bohatá a každý den jiná. Na pláž je to kousíček. Pláž je nádherná a úplně prázdná. Koupat se moc nedá kvůli velkým vlnám, ale stačí jít 20 min po pláži a dojdete k laguně, kde se dá koupat.

Everything was perfect ! Facilities, cleanliness, staff, service level, pool, food quality. Felt more like a Hilton than a Double Tree. A little sanctuary of calm and serenity.

This was one of our favorite homestays in Sri Lanka. We booked last minute after a different local hotel cancelled the night before and we're so glad we ended up staying here. There seemed to be 4 rooms, each with a gorgeous view of the lake with large private balconies that had comfy chairs for relaxing in. The rooms were absolutely huge and pristine and had massive comfy beds and plenty of space for hanging clothes. We really appreciated having the fridge, and though there are only small local shops near by the manager sold us bottles of beer from the restaurant that we stored in the fridge and had on the balcony in the evening. Bliss! We also liked the spacious bathroom. The buildings are located in the most lush gardens which are very well maintained by a very smiley, friendly man. The Gardens are also hosts to a beautiful family of grey faced langurs (the nice kind of monkey), chipmunks and so many species of bird it was hard to keep count. A favorite activity was bird watching from the balcony in the early morning. Breakfast was in a raised platform that overlooked the lake and gardens and was so tranquil. We really enjoyed the fresh juice and fruit platters. The location of the accommodation is just a 5 minute walk from the beaches and the manager shared his whatsapp details and was helpful with booking tuktuks and turtle tours. There were peddle bikes available free to use and also kayaks for the lake. We had hired a tuktuk and this area was perfect for learning how to drive it, with long very quiet roads. On the odd occasion we couldn't start the tuktuk the manager was very helpful and supportive and got it started for us without us really having to ask. We didn't catch his name, but the manager was a gem and so very helpful. We only wish we could have stayed here longer! The local village is very quiet and peaceful, so this is the perfect location to really chill and enjoy nature and the slow pace of local life.

The balcony has a very nice garden view. The breakfast was tasty. The owner is very kind and helpful. And lastly, it is located very close to Silent beach which is in my opinion one of the best in the region.

A beautiful guest home with a warm welcome. I travel solo. If you are looking for tranquility, turtles, a long walk on the beach or a bike ride around the lake then look no further. Delicious breakfast was served to my requirement. In this price bracket this was great value and a great stop after Yala before hitting the busier coastal areas to the west. A big thankyou to my hosts for their generosity.

Beautiful design, excellent food and service, stunning beachfront location, lovely pool. Room was small but cozy, bed was super comfortable, and there were ample common areas to enjoy.
