The beds were nice, they had mosquito nets but when I was there I didn't have one mosquito bite. The bug free dining area. Bird watching from the deck. The phone service, for being where you are was fairly good. We went for a hike to the waterfalls, and it was epic!

Located in Riverston in Matale, just 1 km before the Riverston junction, The Riverston Grand provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a shared lounge and a garden. This hotel is absolutely fabulous, located in a spectacular location. The views are incredible.During our stay, we saw monkeys in the trees from our bedroom balcony. The staff provided a 5 star customer service experience. They really couldn't do enough for us. As for the food, wow, it was of such high standard, incredibly tasty, and such large portions! When we departed, unfortunately, our taxi, via pick me cancelled at the last minute. The hotel staff pulled out all the strings, providing us with alternative travel arrangements at such short notice when we had to travel 180 kilometres. A big thank you to all the team for this. If you are looking for a unique, rural location to relax and appreciate stunning views, then this is the hotel for you. Allison Richard Wayne and Karen.

Located in Elkaduwa and 10 km from Kandy, Green View Holiday Resort features an outdoor swimming pool. Guests can enjoy the meals at the on-site restaurant. Reasonable for the money I spent. Nice view from the balcony.
