Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre, Amaranthe Bay Resort & Spa is located just 5 km north of the Trincomalee town on the beautiful East Coast of Sri Lanka. It’s tranquility, it’s luxury, it’s staff, don’t have enough words for how much we loved this place but it was heaven. The view from our room was stunning, coconut forest with abundance of wildlife and eagles soaring above. The room itself was excellent. The food in the restaurant was class and I can’t thank the staff enough they all made our stay memorable.

Located in Trincomalee, a few steps from Uppuveli beach, Coconut beach resort provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Exceptional It was a very nice stay. The staff of the hotel and restaurant made sure we felt at home. They were very helpful, kind and friendly. The hotel and the restaurant are located right on the beach, just a few meters to walk. In the evening you could have dinner right on the beach. They had western breakfast and traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. It was good breakfast with local fruits and freshly squeezed juice. Special thanks to the Chef for vary tasty dishes for dinner.

Located in Trincomalee, 6.6 km from Pigeon Island National Park, Adaar provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Everything, we came during low season without knowing it but it didn't matter at all because the staff made our stay so perfect we didn't want to leave the hotel. The room is amazing and the pool really enjoyable. Not to miss the restaurant our dinners were delicious. We'll come back for sure!!!

Located in Nilaveli, 6 km from Velgam Vehera, Anukama Resort provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel offered different breakfast options, the rooms were spacious, the environment was quiet, and the swimming pool was clean. The service was attentive, and when there was a power outage one evening, the staff quickly resolved the issue. Highly recommend!

Situated in Trincomalee, a few steps from Uppuveli beach, Elena Garden Resort and Restaurant features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Cute and colorful place run by two hard working and lovely ladies. The rooms are small, but have everything you need. Our patio had two comfortable chairs, a table and a hammock. Elena is very sweet, accommodating and helpful. She serves a lovely breakfast for a reasonable price too. Nice stay very close to the beach! Can also recommend the nearby restaurant Island Flavours!

J7 Villaj Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Trincomalee. This 3-star hotel offers an ATM and a tour desk. Employees are so nice and polite. It’s very good place and prices are reasonable.

Set in Nilaveli, a few steps from Nilaveli Beach, NN Beach Resort & SPA offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. We came as a group of four and had two separate rooms. The hotel facilities were amazing, really modern, with a perfect location close to the beach. The amazing staff even offer romantic barbecues on the beach, and there's also a swimming pool if you dont want to be just on the beach! Ramil and the entire staff were absolutely fantastic - so friendly, helpful, and attentive. It’s just the perfect place to stay, and if we visit Sri Lanka again, we’ll definitely return. We already miss you guys!

Located near Trincomalee in Salli-Sampaltivu, 108 Palms Beach Resort offers accommodation on the private beach. 108 Palms is an absolute gem. I had booked elsewhere but the government visit in Trincomalee precluded staying closer. And I am so glad it did! Greeted at the gate, low key administrative requirements. Super attentive staff. The restaurant served delicious meals with smiles. The pool is delightful-Just right for relaxing near the amenities. And then a short stroll (150 meters) to the beach. The sand is clean and easy to walk on. The water was photo blue - straight from a postcard. My first 2 days the wind blew and there waves were breaking fairly close to shore. The last days - nearly calm. And the beach in both directions was nearly abandoned. A few fishermen going about their business. A few teens walking along from one place to another. That was it. Distance to town - about 15 minutes in car/tuk tuk. But other than for business reasons, I did not bother. When the bells ring during the day it is the Hindu temple just south of the resort - take the time to visit. It is an artistic wonder, so close to the saltwater yet so colorful. What a wonderful relaxing place to stay!! I hope to have a repeat visit. PS I did go scuba diving while in Trincomalee and highly recommend Epic Ocean Adventure, located in the commercial part of the town, 15 minutes from 108 Palms Resort.

Nilaveli Beach Resort is set on the bronzed sands of Nilaveli Beach. This tranquil resort welcomes guests with a private beach area, cosy guestrooms and free internet access at all public areas. A lovely small resort tucked away from the rest of the village. The staff were extremely friendly and kept the grounds and property beautiful.
