It’s tranquility, it’s luxury, it’s staff, don’t have enough words for how much we loved this place but it was heaven. The view from our room was stunning, coconut forest with abundance of wildlife and eagles soaring above. The room itself was excellent. The food in the restaurant was class and I can’t thank the staff enough they all made our stay memorable.

Exceptional It was a very nice stay. The staff of the hotel and restaurant made sure we felt at home. They were very helpful, kind and friendly. The hotel and the restaurant are located right on the beach, just a few meters to walk. In the evening you could have dinner right on the beach. They had western breakfast and traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. It was good breakfast with local fruits and freshly squeezed juice. Special thanks to the Chef for vary tasty dishes for dinner.

I paid slightly north of 120 usd for a night and loved it. Loved the pool. Loved the fact that they faced the Indian Ocean (no they don’t own the beach but u can access the beach front from the hotel and for that matter no one is on the beach anyways). Very welcoming staff reminding u off your meals for the next days .

The property was lovely, with a great pool and games available (board games, archery and volleyball). Close to a beautiful beach. Staff went above and beyond and were really helpful and friendly. Room had everything we needed. A little remote but staff were so helpful with providing tuk tuks and helping us with finding a taxi for onward travel. Would recommend!

Blue diamond resort was an amazing place to spend our holiday in trincomalee. They served us really well that we felt at home. I really appreciate their service and. Highly recommend this place to have an experience of quiet and extremely beautiful view.

108 Palms Beach Resort se nachází v blízkosti Trincomalee v Salli-Sampaltivu a nabízí ubytování na soukromé pláži. 108 Palms is an absolute gem. I had booked elsewhere but the government visit in Trincomalee precluded staying closer. And I am so glad it did! Greeted at the gate, low key administrative requirements. Super attentive staff. The restaurant served delicious meals with smiles. The pool is delightful-Just right for relaxing near the amenities. And then a short stroll (150 meters) to the beach. The sand is clean and easy to walk on. The water was photo blue - straight from a postcard. My first 2 days the wind blew and there waves were breaking fairly close to shore. The last days - nearly calm. And the beach in both directions was nearly abandoned. A few fishermen going about their business. A few teens walking along from one place to another. That was it. Distance to town - about 15 minutes in car/tuk tuk. But other than for business reasons, I did not bother. When the bells ring during the day it is the Hindu temple just south of the resort - take the time to visit. It is an artistic wonder, so close to the saltwater yet so colorful. What a wonderful relaxing place to stay!! I hope to have a repeat visit. PS I did go scuba diving while in Trincomalee and highly recommend Epic Ocean Adventure, located in the commercial part of the town, 15 minutes from 108 Palms Resort.

Everything. The beach, the food, the kind staff. We also met the owner and the manager, they were so welcoming and made such a good atmosphere. If we come back to nilaveli one day, for sure NBR will be our choice.
