The staff was very polite, from check-in to restaurant, spa and cleaners. Huge breakfast and dinner buffet but also lots of items to chose from the menu including great cocktails. I loved the spa with complimentary sauna and the massages I had were really lovely. Nice to use the resort as a base for some hikes around the area, but also worth to stay at the location to get some rest with beautiful view to the mountains and Kathmandu valley.

The Fort Resort is located in Nagarkot, 20 km from Kathmandu. The resort has a barbecue and views of the mountain. Guests can enjoy a meal at the multi-cuisine restaurant and a drink at the bar. Nice, clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. From your room and the terrace / balcony, you can view the magnificent Mt. Everest range, weather permitting. You can also spot a lot of Himalayan birds within the property itself. The highest level terrace of the hotel would allow you to experience the glorious sunrise and sunsets on the mountain ranges. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Food served was simple and tasty.
