Located just 20 minutes outside Rotorua city centre, Ramada Resort by Wyndham Rotorua Marama is situated on the edge of Lake Rotorua and the Ohau Channel. A wonderful "Hello" on arrival by the friendly staff, we immediately felt welcome. At the reception you can borrow a book or a board game or a movie for free if one is interested to do so (which we were). Accommodation was a two-bedroom apartment which turned out be more like a little row-house with two floors (ground floor: kitchen to the right, followed by an open-plan dining area with a large table and six chairs and a living area with a sofa and large TV that leads right up to the other end of the house where some sliding doors open to a little terrace, 1st floor: master bedroom to the left, then bathroom with shower, washing machine and dryer in the middle, second bedroom with two singles to the right). Free parking in front of the house. Fully equipped kitchen, spotless clean - as was the whole house. Heating and cooling possible - much appreciated as it was rather chilly when we staid there. Lovely surroundings close to the lake.
