Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PortugalThe hotel has a great view over Pas de La Casa. Room was clean, large and very cozy. They offer free transfer to the slopes at 9am and return at 5pm which is very convenient. You can also rent all the necessary ski equipment in the hotel. The hotel staff was very polite, helping and giving tips to improve our experience

BrazilNothing regarding the hotel, but the information about accessibility should be VERY CLEAR on their page to prevent other guest to make the same mistake, otherwise they gonna feel stuck in the hotel like us.
We stayed in room 109, which was new, modern, spacious, and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very basic, with the same options every day, but good. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the main disclaimer is: DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CAR. The hotel is up in the mountains and has no access to public transport. Getting a taxi there is difficult or impossible. There are no taxis at Pas de la Casa, so if you need one, they have to come from Andorra Velha (30 - 40 min away) to pick you up and drive you on a 5-minute journey to the hotel, which costs 50 euros. The hotel offers 2 free transfers a day: one at 8:45 am to go down to town and one around 5:30 pm ish to return to the hotel. Other than that, you need to pay 25 euros for the transfer (if they are available). Despite the transportation issue, I would recommend the hotel. It has a beautiful view and offers ski-in and ski-out access if you are able to ski on blue/red pistes.

PortugalThe WC / shower combo is silly - two cubicles separated by a wall with a translucent sliding door that closes one or the other. We are seniors and the cramped WC space with door closed is impossible to manoeuvre for us. There is one light button, for the WC, but the shower has a sensor so sensitive that the light to the shower goes on every time we pass by. Now, if you have to go twice a night, and the door is translucent, and your partner is sleeping...
Location is fantastic and in summer not crowded. Room is large enough and has a table, a chair and spaces to put your bag. Beds are comfy. We dined an assortment of 'tapas' and they were all good and not expensive.

PolandNo sockets to charge your devices next to the bed. Strong bad smell in the room, was not going out even with the window open, every time we enter the room we had to run and open the window to let the smell go at least a bit. Breakfast is from 8 until 10, first day we came at 9 and half of the food was gone, they did not replace it. Food variety could be a bit better. Very bad noice isolation, we could hear all the conversations from the neighbor rooms. Very low ceilings in the room, felt a bit claustrophobic. Extremely low profile pillows, sleeping on them was very uncomfortable.
The location and the view when you leave the hotel, not from the room. The stuff was friendly. Clean room although very old.

PortugalWe arrived around 17:00. The hotel was closed, there was nobody, well after checking was supposed to be open. I called several times, noone answered. After waiting for nearly one hour, we had to look for another hotel nearby, and fortunately found one. When we then requested a refund of the room charge, the hotel flatly refused. Downright dishonest!

FranceWe have been using the Pic Maia hotel for the last 12 years and found that the quality of the rooms year-on-year improved. Unfortunately, this year we were put in a room that was very poor at the back of the hotel, I found this odd as the hotel was under-occupied. Why were we put in a low-quality room when there must have been high-quality rooms unoccupied?
Staff and all the common facilities were excellent.

United KingdomRoom very basic and small - it was so hot even with the rads turned off and the window open. Next door kept us awake all night with their talking - not well sound proofed.
Restaurant was good for 1 night as a buffet was all they had - the bar and staff are excellent.
