Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PortugalWhat we did not like: - the boiler, while new, is not enough for 3 people. We got in touch with the housekeeping and we were told we were spending too much hot water (!). We requested maintenance services and the guy confirmed that the boiler capacity was enough for one shower only - the other folks would have to wait 45 minutes to have a hot shower. Do not expect to have 2/3 showers in a row. People have to wait the water to warm up - this never happened to me and it’s not practical at all. - the ski locker was basic - missing at least one shelf.
The placement is crucial. This apartment's main advantage is its location, which is in a building just next to Pas de la Casa's chair lifts. It's within a minute's walk, but it's not quite ski-in/ski-out. There are numerous stores and supermarkets nearby. Building: a sizable structure with studios spread across nine floors. Since there isn't much room for three guests' belongings, we were unable to leave the ski boots in the quite basic ski locker on the third floor. In front of the building is a garbage point. When it comes to keeping the place quiet at night, the security is highly effective. Nevertheless we could find lots of youngsters travelling in group - this means some noise during the day and the two elevators of the building were always crumped at rush hours. As the studio is on the 7th floor, walking up and down by stairs is not an option. The building is regularly clean. The studio: the studio was renovated some years ago and despite the clean decoration (thanks for that!), it’s a bit tired. It’s a reasonable space for 3 people, with one sofa bed for 2 (surprisingly comfortable) and a single bed in the corridor. There is lots of storage. Bath towels were ok, a bit small. The toilet is totally new but the boiler is not enough for 3 people showering in a row. Amenities include shower gel. The kitchen is basic but it has the essentials. There is a small fridge (not a freezer). We missed an oven (practical for family meals) and a proper coffee machine. We would have appreciated some kitchen basics like napkins, coffee, salt, olive oil and spices - things that do not perish and are useful for travellers. What we liked: - the location - close to the lifts - the heating working properly - The communication with the booking company via WhatsApp previous to the booking - Easiness of check out - Cleaning products to keep the property clean during the week - Final cleaning included in the price

United KingdomDidn’t realise there was a €200 deposit, would have preferred to be messaged in advance to let me know as hadn’t budgeted for it. The ski lockers closed at 6pm which meant we couldn’t access when we got back late from apres (our fault, but a bit annoying!)

SpainWe paid a damage deposit of €300 which I was told would be reimbursed after the clean within 5 working days, it's now over 2 weeks since we left the apartment in as good a condition as we found it, with just the washing of the laundry to do
Everything was perfectly adequate most of our time spent was on the slopes or eating out, returning to sleep only 1 night unable to sleep because of a teenage party in the next apartment till 12pm

United KingdomThe nightclub was very noisy. The kitchen was quite basically equipped with literally just 3/4 plates, bowls cutlery.
Location was very central and close to the ski lifts. The apartment was clean and tidy and the shower was very powerful. There was a microwave in the kitchen.

IsraelUnfortunately, room 716 didn't and we had to leave keys at room 908 which was not the best. The building itself is pretty old which causes some minor inconvenience (weird smell in the halls, issues with the elevator)
Room 908 had a code which was very convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and room 908 had a big table where we could all sit and eat.

IrelandVery noisy at night from outside bars and neighbours. I think it could be cleaner, a lot of dust and rubbish under the bed. The shower did not drain properly either which flooded into the apartment if the shower was on any longer then 3-5 minutes. The apartment is very small, pictures are a little deceiving, we booked a 3 person room but there was only 2 of us, I’m not sure where the third person would have slept. Also the apartment didn’t seem as nice as it looked in pictures. It would also be nice if the bathroom door closed properly without gaps as it’s such a small apartment.
Really good location for ski lifts and the town. Bed was also comfortable.

RussiaNot that we didn’t like anything but something to consider. The place was very small for the 3 of us, I should have paid more attention to the size of the studio when booking. Yet everyone had a place to sleep. If you plan to spend much time outside it’s just fine. Since there is no washing machine, you might want to use the laundry downstairs, that accepts only coins, was a challenge to change the money, a wash is from 4 to 6 euros, dryers are useless thou, a waste of time and money. Had some issues with WIFI which were promptly fixed.
The manager/host is very friendly. The studio is very light and nice, we loved the balcony, the quiet street it was facing (we stayed in summer though and I think in winter it can be more crowded and noisy), and the transformer bed. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, including a sponge for dishes and liquid for washing them. Some oil, salt and bringer, filters for the coffee maker, shower gel and soap. They put an effort to make your stay comfortable and carefree. Very friendly and helpful manager Guilhem, told us about things to see/do, was promptly answering our questions in WhatsApp and in person (the office just across the road).

PortugalI’ve had over 80 bookings on various travel platforms, and I have never had an experience as appalling as this one. The moment we arrived, we were taken to the apartment and immediately noticed severe hygiene issues. There was visible blood on the bedsheets, hair all over the furniture and appliances, and the kitchen area appeared grimy with greasy cutlery and plates. Even more unsettling, we found what looked like syringes in the trash. This was extremely unsafe and unhygienic. We politely requested to cancel our stay right away, asking for a reimbursement of the payment and left immediately after. Before booking, we had also called to ensure there was a reliable internet connection. They assured us it was “perfect,” but it turned out to be around 0.24 Mbps, which was essentially unusable. Upon bringing all of these concerns to the property manager’s attention, they became visibly nervous and then hostile. They shouted at us, called us liars, tried to prevent us from taking further photos, and refused to issue a refund. When we asked for an invoice, they declined to provide one. We eventually had to contact the police to resolve the situation. This was by far the scariest and most distressing experience we’ve ever had. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to avoid it at all costs. It was unsafe, unsanitary, and the handling of our complaints was alarming and unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere.
Regrettably, there was nothing I liked about this accommodation. The condition of the property and the behavior of the manager overshadowed any potential positives.

United KingdomNo Ski Hire, contract says they provide but is charged. directly above club, could hear bass thudding all night/early hours of morning. 2 rolls of loo roll for up to 6 guests for a week stay - wouldn’t provide more. Clearly focused on maximising profit over guest satisfaction

Portugalfull of students on holiday, partying until late, we could hardly sleep. the lifts were always packed and needed to wait a lot. No suitable place to dry the ski boots. Plus the beds were not comfortable, the buckle beds not suitable for big adults (short and fragile), the sofa was dirty, the heating was not easy to adjust since it was coming from one device next to the sofa. Kitchen not very useful for cooking, too small, no storage to keep the groceries, but such a big fridge, not sure why.
Right next to the ski lift and city center

BrazilThe bed was very uncomfortable, horrible. The apartment had the smell of cigarettes, especially bed linen. There was noise from neighbours. The hot water finished faster than expected, the water heating instructions were not so clear.
The apartment is well equipped, very very close to the slopes which is fantastic, with friendly staff. Price was very good.

IrelandThe noise in the apartments at night was ridiculous. I brought this to the attention of the management and they were less than helpful! I did not get one full nights sleep. Extremely stressful especially as I travelled with my 5 year old son. If I could give this company and accommodation a lower score I would.
The location was ideal literally seconds from the ski lifts.
