How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

First, no clear explanation of location, I had to lose my time and money riding around the block in a taxi before I found it myself. The people on the phone are absolutely incompetent and irresponsible. Second, if you are looking for the kitchen, all of the amenities there DO NOT work - gas stove, washing machine, all broken. I asked the manager to fix at least the gas stove, no action taken. Third, cleanliness is very poor. I found few small cockroaches in my room and on the first morning there was a HUGE dead cockroach in the bathtub. There is a lot more to what I didn’t like but I will stop here. Needless to say, staying here does NOT WORTH IT.
The only positive is the guy from housekeeping Abdulhamid, he tried to help me wherever he could. I give +1 point only for this.

It's not hotel room. It's a five bedroom flat and you will stay in one room. The price is too high compared to the location facilities. Bathroom is shared by atleast 10 guests.
I lost my i phone charger cable and the place is too noisy. Full night people are taking bath and walking around the flat.

They sent email after payment online that an extra 70dhs for late check in. Room had no water to drink even. Nothing like the photos. Tried to call the manager, he was very unprofessional. Definitely not worth the price.Need to put full price on booking.com this feels like a scam since we booked it late. Needs a lot of improvement. Don't recommend it to anyone.

Completely dishonest, please avoid this place I paid for a family room Got put in a single small room that hadn't even been clean. There was hairs and dirt on the floor, stains on the bed. The towels they gave me had already been used also they had stains on. The room had a horrible smell also. I begged them numerous times to give me the room that I paid for, they then would tell me they would do it the next day and then we delete the messages on WhatsApp, and ignore me the next day. Good thing I screenshotted everything before they did. They are very dishonest. And how they can get away with this is astonishing. Booking also didn't help at all. This would never happen on Airbnb we actually have consumer rights there.
Nothing, the place was completely different. I paid for a family room. Showed up and it was a small single room.

They didn't accommodate same hotel which was showing in the site. Am planning to complaining in abudhabi police against booking.com and agent of the property. No cleanliness room and Bedroom and mattresses, After informed to change the mattress cover also didn't provided. Shared bathroom provided. No water bottle, fully cockroach. Also the caretaker approach is very bad.

You communicate to the person in charge asking for details and he pass you to another guy asking same details, you reached in the facility and they are there together and the room was not allocated for your booking, and room was not the same as the picture as shown in the app, unclean, unpleasant smell, uncomfortable to stay
Place was not good at all to stay, I understand it was cheap and affordable price but still it is wasting of money and time
