Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MexicoIt was very busy, as it was the end of holidays. Also, there are not enough sunbeds at the beach or pool area for everyone, and it made it difficult to find a place. The pools were not very clean, probably all the sunscreen and people in them. Also, bar locations were not too convenient, and of course staff was overwhelmed by the number of guests. We'll try again without vacation period as this probably will improve our experience. Check-in and check-out times were lengthy, again due to all the people.
Very friendly staff, good facilities for kids and teenagers. We had the all inclusive package and that made our life easier, food was good and drinks were acceptable considering the cost of the package.

United Arab EmiratesHad issues with the room that was disappointing and took 2 days to resolve due to lack of communication within the hotel.. The resort itself is first class and the service at the restaurants and bars was very good. Sanchaya restaurant is by far the best eaterie within the resort… Vespa for a la carte Italian could have done better with the quality of the food served.. The sports bar is also a good location backed up by a decent singer in the evenings.. Overall good time had and would go back again.

United Arab EmiratesThe breakfast menu needs serious improvement—typical egg selections, sausages, and turkey ham (very salty) were disappointing and the flavors overall lacked balance. Simple hash browns are not available in the buffet section and requiring a special order. When they finally arrived, they were overly salty and oily, showing no passion in the cooking. When we raised our concerns, the restaurant manager simply walked past our table despite being informed by the waitress. He chose to ignore the issue, pretending to be busy instead of addressing guest feedback. In a five-star establishment, service must be impeccable, yet this interaction reflected poor training and a lack of professionalism. We requested an HDMI cable, a simple request but the staff not only failed to provide it but responded in an impolite manner. Customer service needs improvements, not just in food quality but in how staff are trained to handle guest concerns.

United KingdomQuite crowded around the main pool, but the 16+ pool and area is much quieter and more sunbeds available. You need to reserve a bed by 0930 at the latest. Otherwise, most will be taken. I went down at 9am and there were plenty, then went back to room to get ready for breakfast. You don't need to get up at silly times though, and they will always get you a sunbed from somewhere if there aren't any.
Lovely clean spacious room, robes, slippers, nice toiletries. Comfy bed, good location in the lower level buildings, pool view. Breakfast was very good, great table service outside for coffees and fresh juices. The staff are so friendly and polite. Sanchaya asian restaurant was amazing, great food, lovely setting outside in the evening heat. Anchor bar is good, especially happy hour, 5 till 7pm Loads of pools, nice temperature water. It really exceeded my expectations based on some reviews, it was very good value for money. We just had bed and breakfast, and at ate at different restaurants for dinner as heard the dinner buffer AI isn't great. So we saved £400 for 2, and I budgeted £100 a day for food and drink, this was for 4 nights stay We ate at Sanchaya, Claw BBQ (Hampton Hotel) and Ula (Movenpick) Ula is a beach style restaurant, it is simply a stunning setting, you need to check it out, it looks like paradise, great food too and lovely attentive staff.

United Arab EmiratesThe beach was closed for maintenance, with work being carried out even at night. We booked a room with a sea view, but the noise was disturbing due to the ongoing construction. The breakfast selection was limited for the price and did not meet the expectations of a five-star hotel.
The room is spacious and very clean. There are few pools to choose, lots of restaurants around.
