Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

New ZealandWhen you travel for 10 hrs with a toddler and still have to wait 30-40 mins for check - in at a 4 star hotel, thats a bad start already. Only one staff was doing check ins at the reception Time was around 20.00. Had already prior informed about our time of check in but we had to wait around 30-40 mins in a queue for check in with a baby who was crying,tired and wanted to sleep. Training must be given to staff that skin colour does not take priority. The queue was not long , only one human in front of us. My check in was completed in less than 5 mins. We had guests coming to meet us (4th July 2024) and the baby. One of them didn't have physical ID but had a soft copy on phone. Both of them have a resident ID of dubai. Both are my sisters. The manager and the staff at that time kept arguing about how they want physical ID and that was the rule. They had old ass scanners to input them into system. Training must be given to manager of what it means to be a hotel manager. Tending to the needs of customers and managing in a way where the outcome is beneficial to both in a speedy and efficient way , not to argue and bring your stupidity to manage for us. Finally he agreed on soft ID being sent to mail and WhatsApp group of the hotel management.
Nothing to like. A hotel without equal service standards amounts to nothing. The only amazing service was given by room cleaning staff and bartenders at tipsy bar and lounge.

United Arab EmiratesI went to the hotel and had sent two emails one on if the hotel is pet friendly and second I want a smoking room. When I went there, I never gor the reply on hotel being per friendly until today but when I got upset about the smoking room not available I got a reply while I was at the reception trying to ask the ladies about the smoking room. When I said i don't want to check in, ladies at reception Desyy and Lyra didn't even try to support or help. They were like okay our concierge will help u with your bags to the car. Really not Marriott service I would expect.
