How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I did not have hot water 2 mornings out of 4, some guests were loud and the noise went through the walls and doors very easily, there was a loss of power of more than 30 min one evening, and the worst was that I had asked if I could stay in the lounge or somewhere after my check out as I had a meeting at 12pm. They kindly offered to stay until 2pm in my room with no extra charge. However, the morning of around 11:55am, I received a first phone call to remind me that checkout was at 12pm. I told them we had agreed I could stay until 2pm, to which they answered it was ok but that I should not be late. Then during my meeting I received another call, again to tell me I should have checked out. I told them again. Then around 1:10pm, a manager and security guard came to ask me if I wanted to extend my stay as I had not checked out, and I had to remind them again, but left within 10 min. It would be fine to simply tell me it's not ok to stay extra, especially as I was not the one to ask for it but they offered.
The hotel is nicely located in Bur Dubai, close to the creek, Shindagha and therefore Deira. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.

Early Check in is necessary for the visitors who arrive early before the check in time and very important to allow late check in to visitors who have late night or evening flights
The Bell boys (Mr. Ilhabit, Mr. John, Mr. Farid Mr. Inam) Security (Mr. Sandeep) and Receptionist (Ms. Karthika) were really helpful and always willing to go an extra mile to assist

The area where the hotel was located was noisy and busy (crowded with people) + we couldn’t sleep well and we had a baby the people next room were so loud and you hear everything in the hallway early morning.

Excellent location, walking distance from the metro lines, the Old Souk and the Al Ghubaiba bus station yet very quiet. There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, perfect for a family escape. The staff is extremely friendly, they show their enthusiasm for the guests. Staying with a 1,5 year-old toddler was a very good experience, everyone took a very good care of us.

Customer service was excellent. I asked for toiletry items which were delivered within 3 min, twice! They have a good breakfast variety as well.

There are some bad/tricky people behind the hotel property locality who deceived the guests and took them to herbal medicine shops and get 1000 of Dirhams while selling unknown herbal medicines for hairs, skin and weight loss. So be careful pls.
Hotel is clean. The staff is very helpful specially Ms. Supriya guest relation officer is very cooperative.

Rooftop swimming pool was closed during my entire stay. If I knew it beforehand I would have booked different hotel. Huge and right pillow, difficult to sleep.
Clean, good value for the money. Service extremely polite.
