The staff at the reception. Especially Jessie, very knowledgeable, and welcoming. She went out of her way to please us. I really appreciated her professionalism in dealing with customers.

The hotel is a piece of art in every sense of the word, every part of the building has a beautiful style and stunning views, the room is very elegant. The pool area is amazing.

Check in procedure

This hotel didn’t check me into the room I wanted to!! I had a layover and I got there they said they can’t give me a room till 2 , then I waited they didn’t give me a room till 6pm !!! And I had to checkout by 7:30pm because I had a flight to catch which they were aware !!b

The stay is amazing and comfortable as usual, the room is spacious and clean the smell of the hotel is very good and unique and the hotel is close to the beach where is so many restaurants, coffee lounges and Shisha, the hotel staff are so helpful and attentive to the details and a special recognition to Ahmed Atya at the reception as always he makes sure that my stay is not less than exceptional I always extend and comes back because of this guy, Thanks Ahmed for everything.

The in-room dining needs to be changed & improved.. The food was almost tasteless like diabetes food.. I couldn’t enjoy it

We really had to ask housekeeping a few times to cleanour room. Maybe they had to much work because there where a lot of people around new year. But all was great. There is no metro or bus connetion for the moment but this will come in the future.

The room has a beautiful interiour. We enjoyed the beautiful views over Dubai. They offer a delicous in room dining experience.

The only minor downside was the sink in the bathroom, which I found slightly inconvenient – anyone who uses it will understand.

My stay at SO/ Uptown Dubai was memorable. The standout feature of this hotel is the incredibly friendly and professional staff. A special mention goes to Jessie at the reception, whose warm and empathetic approach immediately made me feel welcome. She is highly skilled, attentive to guests’ needs, and maintains a perfect balance between professionalism and approachability. Really outstanding. While the hotel might be slightly off the beaten path, this contributes to its serene and peaceful atmosphere, which sets it apart from the chaos of Downtown / Business Bay. I highly recommend booking a room with an island view – the sunrise is truly breathtaking.

The check-in process was smooth, quick and the staff were very friendly; Shout-out to Jessie for going out of her way to make my stay feel as if I was at home. The breakfast was superb. There was a small buffet, consisting of fresh juices and baked goods; however, the main perk was the fresh to order menu. The selection was amazing and even catered to gluten allergies. The location is a bit far from downtown Dubai, but is easy to get to and is near the Dubai Marina area. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards program prior to your stay.

Besides doing their work nicely, housekeeping staff could give more attention to some details like replacing the tissue box even it’s not yet empty. Also refill the shampoo and shower gel containers if nearly empty. Another suggestion if possible is to provide a take-away coffee cup inside the room. Those are just remarks for a better guest experience. Thank you so much

1-The staff are the best especially Ms. Emma Thank you so much Ms. Emma for making our stay more memorable, enjoyable and comfortable 2- location ( if you like quiet area) and accessible to Dubai Marina,JTL,Jumeirah the palm,motor city,….etc. 3- the view either from the rooms or at the hotel entrance 4- there are 2 mosques nearby ( walking distance) 5-the facilities
