Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

United Arab EmiratesRooms are pretty worn. Kitchen does not have detergent and towels and stuff. Laundry only communal in machines which smells badly. Sofa in the room smelled like somebody shited on it. All carpets had dirty spots. Bathroom door foes not shut fully. Bad smells at underground parking. But staff is nice and helpful. I lived on a few aparthotels over Dubai, and this one so far is the worst for the money.

United Arab EmiratesThe Maine restaurant was rather unfriendly when we arrived. We waited 5 minutes to be seated, nobody came so had to ask in the end to be told abruptly go inside to reception despite the fact we were standing next to 3 empty tables (we were outside). Once inside speaking to the girl at the desk and booking a table she said curtly you have until 8.30pm only on that table. Seriously being told how long we have to eat, relax and enjoy our evening is not good, it creates a sense of we have to hurry up to get the next guests in, not a good way to welcome someone to your restaurant. The other reason we did not give a 5 star was unfortunately the experience at the valet when leaving. We waited almost 10 minutes for the valet to show up (nobody was around), eventually we saw a security guard wandering past and asked him what to do, he fumbled about at the valet desk after giving him our ticket, he shoved the keys at us and said the valet “is eating” go get your own car! We did not know where the car was and this clearly is not a valet service. We took the key and went to reception to be told the car is in the basement. We headed to the elevator to go down or hunt for our car, and was then accosted by another security man (maybe a manager, he didn’t introduce himself), trying to take the keys off of us and insisting on doing it despite the fact we had already made the decision to do it ourselves after losing our patience with waiting. He continued to follow us and pester us to stop what we were doing, despite us saying no thanks, we need to go quickly as I had a doctors appointment, it took us 3-4 times to firmly tell him to stop following and insisting on coming with us. We eventually got the car ourselves. It is a shame it ended this way. As the hotel is lovely, all other staff were great but logistics and customer care training are needed for the security and valet staff who let the side down and stopped us from giving a 5 star review.
The vibe is great, creative interiors, clean, neat and tidy. No fuss and clutter in the room, plenty of space for your own things. We liked the environment friendly practices. No plastic water bottles (glass one refillable, only a soap, no packets of dental stuff, hair nets, sanitary packets etc. Big squeeze bottle of shampoo and shower gel (no wastage). Bed was comfy, simple and “working” buttons for lighting and AC. Breakfast was clean and a small buffet with minimal wastage but fair menu for cooked breakfast. Staff were all smiley and helpful (except security/valet, see below). All trained in customer interactions very well. Love the vibe around the pool in the evening with a great selection of restaurants to choose from.
