How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

hard bed, no topper. It was also very pricey, but maybe it was for the period.
the property is new and well structured. The room was cozy and stylish. I recommend it if you are looking for a staying outside the city. Everything was really great. the bed unfortunately was really HARD. and they dont use any topper to make it a bit softer.

parking is very limited and breakfast is not of a big variety water in bathroom is not very hot and the pressure of the shower head is not good enough

There were two downsides: 1. Location. 2. Ordred ice and received it in a plastic bag, not a bucket, as I am used to in other hotels.
I liked the rooms. They were clean and spacious. The staff was also very friendly.

There are construction workers around the building and it was noisy in the morning. Its far from metro line, the nearest station ( Discovery Garden) is 20-30 minutes walking from hotel (around 2 km) and to downtown with metro it takes about 40 minutes

Construction in progress behind the hotel During check out, A receptionist was not even so kind

In the middle of construction area - two huge cranes outside and construction workers get to work very early, shower pressure was poor and the temp was either scalding hot or cold
Good value especially with hotel rates currently sky high in Dubai; nice room with modern decor; close to Ibn Battuta Mall and easier to drive anywhere, no noise from busy road next to hotel

- No slippers in the rooms - Kitchen closes at 11 pm - No balcony 😢
The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly and professional. The design of the rooms is stunning and original. The kitchen did a great job by offering healthy food in a huge variety of tasty continental dishes. The rooftop pool is awesome with temperature control, especially at the sunset after a long day. My staying was beyond my expectations. JA's signature never disappoints.

The view outside the swimming pool, but it didn’t really bother us.
Very clean and nice hotel! It exceeded my expectations. We wanted twin beds instead of a kingsize bed, and in 15 minutes someone showed up to fix it. The service is great!

The gym was very small and too busy for us to use. There wasn't a plug on both sides of the double bed- only on one side. Construction noise from our room started very early in the morning.
Comfortable and well equipped rooms. Nice breakfast spread. Lovely staff.

Unfortunately building works were ongoing right outside my window so lots of noise early morning. Another building being erected next door.
Hotel was very clean and tidy. Modern fittings. Room was spacious enough.

No information in the rooms about the spa, services and prices etc or the hairdressers on site Pity about the building works either side of the hotel, working all hours day and night. Hotel was busy with alot of underage soccer teams staying at the same time
The staff in the restaurant were lovely! Friendly and a great memory. All areas are kept very clean and tidy, water bottles added to room daily

location between two building construction areas make the stay a little bit noisy but in dubai it’s hard to find anything else.
the hotel is new, clean and the crew very nice and helpful. the rooms are big which is good for longer stay. we had the best omlettes for breakfast ever. warm swimming pool is a good option for winter.

The water in the shower was cold. It was disappointing as the hotel is relatively new. The staff could have been more polite to their guests.
