Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. United KingdomThe swimming pool was on the small side. Although the outdoor shower idea was good, it's hard to take a shower in the evening or windy. The security/ management could have done more when loud and inconsiderate tourist boats came near to the beach.
The staff really made the hotel as everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was really memorable and relaxing. The view from our balcony was second to none and the beach was fantastic for swimming and sunbathing with fine sand and clear blue water. Our bedroom was really spacious and our bed was very comfortable. It's very quiet most of the time so we felt very well rested. Food was fantastic too. After sampling a few local restaurants I would say the cooking at Keyonna was better.

United KingdomA gym would have been a really good addition. The beach is great for strolling but it's quite steep in places and hard to run on. We didn't have a working phone in the room when we arrived and it took six days to get this sorted. It wasn't a major issue but could have been if walking to reception was tricky for us (as it was further away from the main reception than some rooms). There isn't the best choice for vegetarians and vegans, but it was OK for a week. There is a separate menu for vegetarians for the beach grill (But I didn't know about this till day 3!). The first two evenings in the restaurant only had one option and when I asked for an alternative I was told there wasn't one. However, Geri-Lee rescued me the following night, making sure I knew all the options they could provide - honestly this made all the difference to my holiday experience and changed the review I would otherwise have written. Thank you Geri-Lee!
What a beautiful hotel. The staff are amazing - it's unusual to be able to say that EVERY member of staff without exception went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Tevin in the beach bar for his great service, friendly demeanour and fantastic football chat, and also to Geri-Lee in the restaurant. The food is good. Breakfast is really good, and having lunch options in the restaurant and in the beach grill is great. Dinner was fine. Some might find portions a bit small although you're welcome to order more than one option if you want. Drinks are amazing, and they were always so accommodating of our preferences. Good to have the minibar restocked to our preference too. It was good to have mosquito repellent provided, thank you. We had an issue with the door to the outside shower but it was repaired quickly. The location is absolutely beautiful. We had a beachfront sunset room and loved it. We didn't find we needed our own pool - the main pool was always quiet but we didn't use it anyway, we preferred the sea. The room was spacious and beautifully clean. Pillows were OK - could have been more comfortable. We loved the outdoor showers. Music in the restaurant was good in the evenings. The grounds are stunning and really well looked after. We particularly loved our area of the beach. What a treat to have your own Bali bed and sunloungers on the beach - we loved not having to get up and 'reserve' these in the morning. We booked a taxi to Nelson's Dockyard and the service provided by Brenda was great. Overall, we had an amazing holiday and are definitely planning to return.

United KingdomNot much apart from a rather unpleasant smell every now and again from the next door property
Wonderful staff, good food, great Bali beds on the beach for every room, entertainment every night, mostly very good. Original and fairly ‘rustic’ but not shabby, just not glitzy.

United KingdomOur beachfront bungalow was delightful but some of the overgrown trees/branches would benefit from pruning back to allow for more sunlight to come through - a bit too shaded.
Quiet location. Rustic charm - boutique style exactly what we want! Staff exceptional. Perfect place!

United KingdomYou have a Bali bed and loungers but the loungers have no umbrella. The pool is tiny. It’s about 12m long and most of that is steps. It’s fine for a dip but it’s by no means a lap pool.
Each room has its own Bali bed and loungers. Service excellent. Breakfast good, lunch great, grill good, dinner ok (but I’ve ever found anywhere that does dinner well in the Caribbean). It was very quiet - which was what we wanted. Some we spoke to found it a bit too quiet. There’s not much going on for sure. Again I put that here as a plus as that is what we wanted for this holiday.

United KingdomThe beach isn't the best for access, with rather a steep slope into sea with quite noticeable undertow and, sadly, seemingly devoid of any sea life. There seemed to be an absence of a senior manager or leader; if one was there I was not aware, but perhaps they might have been proactive in tidying up after recent storm damage on beach and in realising that music was often too loud at dinner. This is an ideal retreat for couples only but the ambience suffers when groups of noisy American couples arrive and behave as a pack. The paths between the wooden villas would benefit from better lighting and with clearer directions eg in case of fire or to restaurant.
Lovely staff and a happy atmosphere - just the place to relax and unwind. Open sided rustic restaurant serves great and varied food for all three meals ( when chef Hensley Pryce is on duty you can tell the difference - he's the top man. ) Our room (57) was large, clean and comfortable and quiet but with great views out to the sea - and the spectacular sunsets. We had a lovely private plunge pool and good, strong outside twin showers. Excellent variety of drinks available at all times, and in room. A scenic beach abuts the hotel grounds and is a pleasant walk in either direction. Each villa has own covered sunbed on the beach, and Tevin and his chums cheerfully look after your needs. Strong anti-mosquito sprays provided in rooms - and you'll need them, and more!

Accommodation was excellent. Lodge overlooking the beach which was very large, quiet , well stocked with drinks, with its own Bali bed and lounges & chairs on the balcony. Food was brilliant as was the service and staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Paradise personified.

United StatesI would have liked the bar to stay open a little later, I did want room decor that was not provided but when I brought it up to management at the end of my trip they were very quick to correct the situation
Everything from start to finish at keyonna is amazing. Food unbelievable, cocktails unbelievable, true luxury at this resort. Tevin the beach butler was outstanding and so attractive, made our trip even better. The price is incredible also to have a private pool that is beachfront

United KingdomOnly couple of minor issues were: 1. Hot water very infrequent to shower. Outside showers were lovely, and due to the air temperature a cold shower was quite refreshing, but a warm shower would have been nice on occasion. 2. Beach was lovely (picture postcard) but it is quite rocky a few metres in and quite difficult to get in/out due to the current/tides. Nothing that can be done about that obviously, but just an observation. 3. Although a lovely and quiet resort (much needed!), in the evening it needs to be bit more lively. Entertainment was ok, but could have been better (maybe some better acts going forwards), and was finished by 9pm. So the whole restaurant and bar was shutting down by 10pm latest. Needed more ambiance and a bit of variety in the evenings to make the night more of an occasion rather than dinner then bed.
All the staff were exceptional. So friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they all went over and above. Food was excellent with a great off-the-menu choices and specials everyday, and the all-day grill is a great bonus. Beach and pool service throughout the day was amazing. Rooms were wonderful and kept so clean every day.

United StatesThe property is well maintained, rooms are spacious and everything works. However, we didn’t consider that the hotel delivers good value for money. Based on the price (over US$700 / night) we expected a more premium experience. The overall service, including the quality of the food/drinks, and of towels and sheets could be better.
We love that this resort has character and felt more like a small hotel. The beach and the cabanas are great and perfect for a relaxing weekend.

United StatesMy only complaint, which is not about the resort at all, is their local frogs at night. They sound like car alarms that don't stop until the sun comes up.
From the time we arrived, we were greeted with the kindest and most caring staff. The location was outstanding! Our cottage was perfect! They cleaned our room every day, gave us fresh flowers, and restocked our mini bar each day as well. The food was absolutely outstanding!! I can't say enough how beautiful the dishes were, and the flavors...out of this world! The chef overdid himself for every meal. The grill chef was fantastic, and the service was exceptional! I would highly recommend Keyonna Beach for a wonderful romantic vacation!

United StatesA little better lighting on the paths. It is easy to get lost at 10 PM after a few rum punches. Make sure you bring cash for tips and the van to and from the resort.
The food was great with small portions, but you can get multiples if you want. So it works out. You almost never have to ask for anything, because someone will always ask you first. Love this place.

United StatesI had a wonderful stay at your property, thanks to the incredibly kind staff, the stunning resort, and the fantastic massages. The highlight of my visit was experiencing the carnival, which was truly unforgettable. The service throughout my stay was excellent. However, I did notice a couple of areas for improvement. The minibar wasn't restocked during my stay, and there was a persistent sewage smell that lingered throughout the week. Addressing these issues would make an already great experience even better.
