No way of eating any meals at breakfast or evening outside as they now close all the windows and shutters making it feel a bit canteen like. Restaurant needs some nice local artwork on the walls. No ambience in there. When we came before you could see outside.

The property is very large and sometimes there is a long wait to get a buggy to travel. There could be a few more shaded areas throughout the property especially when waiting for transportation.

Majority of the staff here are very nice, welcoming, and helpful. There are a few who were a little rude however the politeness of the others outshine those interactions by far. Special mention to Triston who was very polite, patient, and insightful throughout our entire trip. Jeremiah was also very nice and helped make our trip special with his suggestions and assistance at the beach. There was also a manager whose name started with a T who welcomed us upon arrival and checked on us to ensure everything was to our liking. From the initial interactions, these staff members helped our group of 6 feel like we were regular visitors at the Verandah although this was our first stay. I would defiantly return and highly recommend a stay here. Sidebar: The food is great and well seasoned!

Very difficult to make a dinner reservation, availability was limited. We were only able to make reservations for our last 2 nights. Staff were very friendly, but bars were understaffed. There was loud construction at one of the beaches.

Food was good, particularly from the restaurants. Room was great, clean and spacious. Beautiful view from the balcony. Beach was very nice, specifically the one with water sports. Drinks were good. Optional excursion on the calypso cat catamaran was absolutely amazing.

What most disappointing is get bottled water for your room. It seems to have been given selectively - Not cool!!!

Sadly the food in the main dining room which is where you end up eating most meals, is not good. It was overcooked and often pretty tasteless. The restaurants are much better, but if you have a big group like us (8), you have to book in advance (Before you travel) and you should. Also the food at the reggae beach was much better, though you will wait during busy times.

The resort was so lush and beautiful and had plenty of activities all included. Long Beach was next door less than 5 min from reception and so worth visiting. The staff were so friendly and warm.

Buffete food is terrible, the beach area is not that nice. Sails and tails average at best. Water area average.

Friendly staff, rooms were nice but a little old looking. Beach bar and grill good food, portafinos had probably the best dinner. Don't pay the extra $40.00 per person for Niclose to worth it.. Pizza was very good just sometimes waited over an hour for pizza. Overall grade for this place C-

Very understaffed and the ones who were there were clueless, we waited 3hours and 20 minutes for lunch one day, the next day my meal didn’t even turn up! A lot if the food in the specialty restaurants arrived cold! We were told while checking in that our accommodation is serviced every other day and then it was a lottery if they turned up at all!! They have a resort fee of 24 dollars per night you have to beware of as it’s NOT included in the price of the stay. The pool was very nice as were the beaches. We never used the water activities so cannot comment on these. The crazy golf is good and would be better if the beer tap and toilet facilities were working during our 15 night stay! You are a little hotel bound there as nothing around outside. Nicoles restaurant is definitely not worth the extra money you have to pay. Had a manicure in the spa which was ok but I would not go back if I stayed again. This was our second time staying here and I was extremely disappointed as our first time there was amazing. We will never return.

We felt the food needs much improvement. Pizza was okay however one pizza we ordered was not cooked (raw dough). The buffet both breakfast and dinner was absolutely terrible. ( The closed in dining hall type venue was very unpleasant as most people prefer an open air atmosphere when dining in the tropics....seemed more like a college campus dining hall atmosphere...not at all enjoyable.). Portofino's was a nice experience but staff seemed very unprepared and not knowledgable about menu or wine options. Service was extremely slow. TV in room did not work, hot water for shower lasted for 2 minutes at best.

beaches, food, staff, management of housekeeping service, front desk and guest service desk. Customer service was shockingly bad and the attitude of staff was enough to make you want to leave immediately.
