Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel is in a very charming rustic area, the building has a very authentic traditional feel. Staff friendly and accomodating. The stay is rudimentary but good. Best ask for a room that has windows if you like that.

Doesnt reachable by car and have to take a 5-6 min walk on a quite bad street. But it isnt a real problem if you prepare for it.
Rooftop terrace is awesome. Beautiful Cityview. The bathroom is super cool. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Location was bit difficult, had to walk rocky path to get there. Otherwise it was still fine, as views were great. Something weird seemed to be going on, as most of the time there was no staff available. Also when paying they didn't have any change and needed to have exact money.
Breakfast in terrace was absolutely amazing, some bee's did annoy a bit but that can't be helped with. Room was comfy.

Very new, very stylish, super clean, spacious and very well located. There was a little misunderstanding with the booking we made (depending on the pictures on booking.com we thought we booked a different room as we found there), but the owners reacted very friendly and offered us an even bigger and nicer room than we thought that we booked (for the same price). Staying here is highly recommended!

Little difficult to know how to access the hotel entrance and because they look on the key and you have to use a pin code, but the pin code that i received from booking was not right and one of the neighbors helped me to contact the owner and he told me the real pin code. it's freezing in the room, you can only use the Ac to heat but also it's so cold

The room was very small for a deluxe king. The courtyard view was a stone wall less than a metre from the window! Nevertheless, great value for money!
Loved the old style of the hotel. Old stone walls and decorative wood. Beautiful view from the breakfast terrace. Great position for walking in and around Berat. The breakfast was great, served by a lovely lady and it was delicious and fresh!

There is nothing I didn't like but people with mobility issues should be aware that this hotel may not suit them. Firstly, it can only be accessed by foot and is on a cobblestone street up a hill. Also, the stairs to the rooms are very steep and there is no lift.
Charming, traditional style small hotel in the old town. Nice rooms with lovely modern bathrooms, although some fixtures were not finished properly. Fabulous shower. Excellent and very generous breakfast served on the upstairs terrace with great views and lovely service. Great location. Very easy to walk to town. Plenty of restaurants around. Parking available. The manager communicates with you via Whatsapp text to let you know door codes and room number prior to arrival.

The room was very dark and the only window was small. The sheets weren't clean and smelly. The door handle and the toilet seat were loose and fell off regularly. The other rooms seemed nice, but unfortunately ours was a bit of a disappointment.

Poor communication with hotel & felt like we were bothering them when we arrived; Smelly bathroom, taking a shower floods everywhere and there is no ventilation to dry it out. There were mold spots on the ceiling. Otherwise clean surfaces; All in all a decent option for staying in Berat considering Berat accommodations are expensive.
The breakfast prepared by the lovely lady is yummy & filling The view from the covered terrace Sleeping in a traditional Berat house Nice location, free parking is nice. You do have to climb stairs, but honestly it's Berat: you encounter stairs everywhere.

Bad isolation of sound and light from the outside. The shower has no protection so the water spreads in the entire bathroom. The breakfast was good but it is a fixed plate, you can’t choose what you eat and is a small proportion

the toilet seat was detached, we asked for it to be fixed and were told it would happen when we were out, but they never came. tiny room with a windows facing a wall poor communication - had to specifically ask about parking which is on the main road at gorica parking for free

Location - whilst it is walking distance into the town people need to know there is no car access to the property. To access the hotel you must carry your luggage approximately 200 meters over rubble and rocks. If you have a disability it would be extremely difficult. Breakfast - no tea or coffee available Please be aware at the time the hotel only accepted cash for our stay.
